Hey Henrick, hope your well. I totally get the satchurated thing, I recorded this over 2 years ago, and it never seem to do well on views. Never understood it myself, not like its the worst cover in the world and I didn't even copy it note for note. Defo had to write alot of the solo parts. Glad you enjoyed it bro, be alot more stuff coming this year, just bought a another JS model.......I got way too many guitars!
Why oh why can't I play like that...Joe Satriani still has to be top ten guitarists EVER. The way he put stuff together is so ethereal. This guy nailed it effortlessly, what a guitar player he is no doubt a master at it to be able and totally sound like the real artist. I have never been able to do most leads verbatim. I just do my own thing and try to stay in key. Course my brain ain't snapped on too tight anymore.

I guess he's our generations Hendrix so what a time to be alive. Keep plugging away man, never give up on your playing. It's in there somewhere you just have to nurture it out with patience and time. I'd work on things bit by bit so you don't get overwhelmed, you'll be surprised how quickly things come together once you chip away. Tk care man.
This is probably the best cover of Satriani I've listened to. If I wasn't looking at the video, probably I couldn't have differentiated if it was actually Satch playing it. It's such perfection on so many levels. The technique, the tone, the feel, every note is feels so alive. This is just brilliance. I can't imagine the kind of dedication and passion that allowed this to happen. It's so good. Love it.

Some really good lead playing in this even though I hate the tone! Axe FX is proper over rated, I'll never use another rack effect again. Been rewatching this cover this morning, it’s my favorite cover of this song, 100% honest!! But WHY…. I repeat myself WHY?? Doesn’t this have at least 1 millions view, and even way more 🤯🤯🤯 I don’t understand, please put your insane solo from this cover (your own flavor, impro) out as a short video, people need’s to see this and refer to the whole video! But the whole cover is hidden gold. This cover is the Mona Lisa, the Picasso the…. You get my drift 🤯🤣

I actually think RU-vid shadowban my account if I'm honest, I had a period where views and comments went nuts on all videos. Then all of a sudden nothing, and it's all because I'm a small channel that brings in no commission for this platform. Tbh with you I was thinking about giving this all up because the work that goes into these tracks just doesn't get anywhere near the return for me personally. I'm never gonna get monetised at this rate but on the other hand a part of me just does it for fun anyway. It would be nice to get biggar because if it did I'd start doing lessons and tips and preset videos to help people out. I have a solved the mystery, maby me and alot of others (I’ve read the other comments) are completely tone deaf, and what we consider perfection is garbage 🤔🤣🤣 No, no this is more like the Twilight Zone, it doesn’t make any sense 🤯 What I consider a good cover in the first place, is what emotional response it gives me. It is the crucial first 5 seconds that either makes me want to watch more or I simply go on to the next video (easy RU-vid psychology 😅 ) Yes there are tons of good covers on “Summer Song” who perfectly have studied every inch of every tone and puts out a remarkable cover that recreates the atmosphere. BUT then you have the elite, those who are not just copying the song but gives the listeners an extra flavor, a respectable and well constructed take on the song that brings the song to a new level. If you listen to classical music arrangements, they are actually worshiping coversongs, and I don’t know who’s covered the most, Mozart, Bach etc Many of the soloists are beyond beyond amazing, but then you have the elites that have the ability to give the melodies their own touch, and that is probably one of the reasons classical music is what it is, and are studied and keept alive to this day. I think you are in the elite with this cover, on the top 🤘😁 Keep the covers coming, and this one i’m 100% sure Mr Satriani would have been very proud of 🙌🙌🎸🎸

I get what your saying, I'd never do a cover note for note because that doesn't allow any personal expression and I'd just be copying someone else who did it miles better than me. I like to take a song, keep the theme, but inject me in there so the listener gets another view of an already amazing track but still feels the same way about it when they first heard it if that makes sense. A classic example is my Time Machine cover, the theme was there, but I added more to it and in some ways for me at least made it more immersive with the production. You'll never see a straight note for note cover on this channel because the originals are king, my quest is to give you the song back but for you to be happy it went in another direction whilst still retained the elements. I'm not the best lead player and I don't proclaim to be but I got enough to make tracks work by being tasteful. Thank you for the kind words bro.
