I have loved watching Joe and Serena fall in love. They really handled everything with so much maturity and grace, and it's clear that both Joe and Serena are willing to put the relationship first. From a recent podcast we now know that they actually had a lot of in depth discussions about relocating (that didn't make the edit likely for dramatic effect) and they've probably decided to first live in a neutral city like NYC and in the short term split time between their two cities (Toronto and Chicago are just a 1.5 hour flight away from each other). Both are open to compromise in order to make the relationship work and Serena said that she'd be willing to live in Chicago too. Joe and Serena have communicated in such an honest and healthy way throughout everything, and that is a great foundation for a long-lasting relationship. And as for their age gap, I don't think it matters that much between mid 20s and mid 30s and it really depends on the individuals (Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have the same age difference). Joe and Serena are both mature minded and young at heart, and learning more about them they actually share a lot of the same interests. I truly wish them all the best and hope people will show a lot of them support going forward. Congratulations!

The fact that this whole season started with sad Joe wandering around the beach by himself. I loved when Serena pursued him and made it a point to talk to him and get to know him. That's what paradise is all about! So happy for these cuties!

They saved the best for last! Aside from the Kendall distraction, this was perfect! My favorite couple of the season and tied as favorite couple of the series with zac and tayshia. Honestly, they are perfect for each other. They remind me of Monica and chandler from friends because of how they playfully neg each other while deeply in love and that’s what I want in a partnership. So cute!

This is the best bachelor in paradise season so far. All couples were authentic in finding love whether they got engaged or continued their relationship after paradise

I was smiling so much throughout this proposal! Joe and Serena are so genuine and you can see how much love and respect they have for each other. I'm so glad that they didn't let anything get between them. The way Serena immediately asked Joe if he was okay at 2:05 is one of the clearest differences between her and someone like Kendall. Kendall has ultimately shown that she doesn't really care about Joe as a person, it has always just been about herself. With Joe and Serena, they're both willing to put the relationship first and do what's necessary to make sure the other person feels heard and cared about. Serena always showed that she cared about whether Joe was okay and focused on making their relationship stronger no matter what, and Joe did the same. That's what true love is, and that's what a marriage needs to make it last. I'm so happy for Joe and Serena.

I take back what I said about Serena, I initially thought she was too immature for Joe. I judged by the way she was on Matts season and the fact shes 2 years younger then me. But she handled herself with such class and grace this season. The fact she asked “are you ok?” instead of getting mad (which would have been perfectly understandable) just shows her growth and maturity. I hope they live happily ever after 💕

Serena is only 23. Joe is 34. It is not surprising that she just trusts what he says or goes along with what he suggests. They may end up having a good relationship but the fact is most older men who pick someone so much younger than them are looking for someone that let's them be more in charge so to speak in the relationship She's young enough that she is not settled some where and is more flexible about where she lives and such. Joe is actually very specific on what he wants. He was not willing to change it for Kendall or anyone I guess. He found someone to fit with what he wants so he's happy. Hopefully it will work out for the long term.

watching this season of paradise, i believe you can find love and get engaged at the end of it. they spend more time physically with each other in a couple of weeks than most people do in 6 months. and unlike the bachelor/bachelorette, you see the person raw. no one is glamed up from head to toe everyday. i understand why there are more successful relationships from paradise.

Joe had a VERY lucky escape. Kendall always just seemed to look down on Joe, I was so happy to see him meet the right person. Serena seems like such a kind and genuine soul.
