wow. i have never read such horrible words of anyone that sings of any kind songs. i met the guy, i can say he is a genuine person very bless to have met him. it takes a lot to sing any kind of song & he is tryin to keep the culture goin, just sad in todays society that their are people with comments like yours. i pray for those that put mean comments for the world to see...Bless those all & hope we all past on our own cultures:)
My great grandma was Mescalero Apache. I never got to know her and wish I could have learned more about her and my Apache blood. It makes my heart smile when I see the little ones imitating their elders and carrying on the tradition. Thank you for posting. I enjoy it very much.

I saw him10/10/14 ind ABQ IPCC. I dont understand a single word - i am German - but these songs touch my heart. I read comments which are hard for me to understand. First of all - not every white person is a ignorant a...: ..e ! I think it' s a good way to show another - your - culture to interested people. He does it a way that attracs more people which is good i think. So i hope to see more on youtube and next time when i travel hopefully live.
wow...doesn't he know the symbols on the gaan have a meaning and they're used for prayer and aren't meant for entertainment on our reservation they are only allowed to be at the ceremonial dances because the elders were upset with them being used for entertainment
Joe is dumb for exploiting our people's holy songs for entertainment and money. If you're going to do this at least learn the songs and sing them the right way

well if he knew what he is doing maybe people wouldn't hate!! but as you can see he don't know... he's just doing all of this for money but I can tell you this why doesn't he perform here in our apache reservation??? cause he knows that our elders will say something this guy is straight up crazy mofo!! eventually all this will turn around on him later in life...
I love the teachings that was given to the Apache ...but ... joe .....the gaans are for traditional ceremonies to the Apache ...not for entertainment....I am gonna be a clown dancer but ...I I’m used for traditional ceremonies..
