First Jazz song I remember hearing. My grandmother had some Cannonball Adderley albums. I was probably nine or ten. The other kids couldn't relate, but I was hooked.
Interesting how the trumpet player uses 3rd valve instead of the 1 & 2 combination. This is what I do too but is uncommon in jazz players. Probably a German thing.

were Hohner Pianets (including Mk. 1 & models C, L, LB & N) more expensive in The US than they were in the UK & Europe? (the Wurlitzer Zawinul plays were more heavyweight and American)

I have seen the full "portrait" in the Austrian Television ORF. and most of you are completely right: the redaction, which decided to voice over this magnificent playing is a bunch of ignorant idiots - pretending to celebrate joe zawinul and his music, but treating this music with footbangs. what a shame!!!!
