The fact that refs allowed a clearly frustrated player who clearly committed a flagrant foul that could have caused career ending injuries, to stay in the game is absurd. Embiids dirty play foul grifting and flopping is disgusting. Rewarding him with trips to the foul line line is equally repugnant.

The act should be judged and punished not who did it... if Josh Hart grabs Embids Legs the same way not only is he tossed every media outlet would say hes trash today and call for his head for the disgusting play. Robinson just came back from surgery and being out for months and rehab..it was a non basketball play that could have cost him his career if he tears or breaks something from the knee below. Embid had every right to play aggressive... he had no right to try to end a career.... 100000% person anyone wrapping up his legs and dropping him would have been done for the day and fined...

You're crying and refusing to think. It wasn't a dirty play. If Embiid had let Mitchell fully jump, he would have landed on Embiid's injured knees. So, to avoid another golden state situation with Kuminga, Embiid kept Mitchell from jumping to protect himself. You would have done the same thing if you were smart.

If “it’s clearly a dangerous play,” then he should have been tossed. But the clear tell that you couldn’t really comment on the Embiid dirty play is that you didn’t have Bontemps on. We understand but would have preferred a more accurate depiction of what happened rather than glossing over that. Injuring Mitchell Robinson changed the entire outcome of the game as Embiid would have been ejected. To say I’m disappointed( yet not surprised) is an understatement.

Pulling Mitchell Robinson on that jump was 1000% a flagrant 2, but having him ejected or potentially suspended would hurt the NBA's bottom line. The NBA was even flagging "Embiid dirty play compilations" on twitter the day after it happened.

Yeah we have seen players get tossed for WAY LESS. It’s a bad look for the league, who didn’t want Philly to go down 0-3 in a series with 2 big markets getting high ratings. You’ll notice that there are certain officials who always officiate in Game 3’s when a team that attracts viewership trails 0-2. Zach Zarba, Scott Foster, and Tony Brothers to name a few… We will see some sus calls tonight in Phoenix too, and they’ll all favor the Suns, who the league also has vetted interest in. You’ll notice that all the little calls “that could go either way” will all go Phoenix’s way.

How is it possible that one player is kicking people in the nuts, elbowing them in the stomach, grabing their legs as they try to jump, running into them with his shoulder without any reason....and doesn't get thrown out of the game for it, while camping at a FT line cause he is getting every possible soft call, like it is 2nd month of regular season. Not to mention he is flopping all the time. At the same time, the player from another team (that is actually a real contender), that plays the same position, is being grabbed, pushed, hit on the head, hit on the arm, pulled, scratched...can't get a call.

It is crazy how teams blow things up when they lose to good teams and have good season. Like Bucks blowing up to get Lillard or other teams losing to GSW in their prime. Boston, if they lose this year which likely will, could blow up their for what? For losing to an awesome West team, likely Denver? Since 2021, the Lakers have now held 11 game losing streaks vs two teams that bounced them in the first round- Denver and Phoenix. If you want proof that the Bubble was a fluke, look at the seasons before and after it. 2019: missed playoffs 2020: 🫧 💍 2021: first round exit 2022: missed playoffs 2023: play-in seed, swept 2024: play-in seed, swept in first round

The Knicks were getting away with 90's style basketball the first 2 games while Philly couldn't sneeze on any Knicks player. That Brunson foul baiting move is ridiculous too. I thought that was outlawed by the league because of Trae Young. Sixers are just the better team and I expect them to win this in 6 or 7 games.

The lakers need to move the lebron cancer. 39 year old that can’t adapt his game. He is the system. No matter who is on that team it’s his team. Move lebron and build around the younger guys and AD. Joel embiid performed a dirty play last night. Plain and simple. And yes, he did score 50 points. But the sixers are still down in the series. If the referees did not give Joel embiid 21 free throws for ghost fouls, the Sixers do not win the game. If the referees had did what they were SUPPOSED to do and gave him a flagrant 2 and ejected him, the Sixers do not win the game
