Lebron Jame's Hairline Harbaugh is no Saban, I would pick Miles over him. Reason being, Miles went to two national championship games and won 1 and had they not played Alabama he would have had 2.

I'm a miss. State fan, I remember this year our 5'8 165lb speedster busted a punt and was caught from behind by a 6'3 240 lb linebacker who doesn't even start for them on D. I just laughed- how can you compete when the fastest guy on your team gets chased down from behind by a bench warmer with 50+ lb on you? It's insane the talent they have.

Skip went back four years instead of five like he initially said he would, conveniently leaving out the 2011-12 season. That year, Alabama led the FBS in rushing defense, passing defense, total defense and points allowed. Alabama gave up 78 total yards less per game than the second best defense in the country (LSU) and was the only defense in the FBS with a pts/g average in single digits. And since Skip thinks Harbaugh and Meyer are better than Saban, let's compare defenses. The numbers compare Harbaugh's average total defense rank at Stanford and Michigan against Alabama during the same seasons. Same for Meyer coached teams. No Harbaugh or Meyer coached team at these schools has ever finished the season ranked higher than Alabama in total defense. 2016 would be the first year if Michigan holds on. Harbaugh's at Stanford: 27, Alabama: 10 Harbaugh's at Michigan: 2.5, Alabama: 2.5 Meyer at Florida: 15, Alabama: 10 Meyer at OSU: 29, Alabama: 6

Joel Klatt, you hit the NAIL directly on the HEAD dude.. I remember years ago when Nick was at Michigan State, they were loosing a game in the first half badly. In the second half the game was turned completely, I was thinking unbelievable, have not seen a Coach like that ever, nor a single game in the SEC where that kind of change was made.. The year was around 1992, when Alabama won the Championship, and Gene Stallings Offense had several game that year in which the defense had jumped offside, we ran the ball three times and punted.. WOW, but now Saint NICK is in Tuscaloosa Baby..! Roll Tide Roll.

Rudy Montana. He's not over Saban and Urban because they won multiples championships and he's not over Herman because Herman and Harbaugh basically built a program from the ground up. He's not over Dantonio because Dantonio consistently gets them to bowl games with mediocre recruiting class( excluding this year of course)

Sure he could. Saban was 19-18 against 11 or more win P5 teams. See the list of who he beat and who he lost too. The greatest ever was 1 game above 500. No where is 1 game above 500 great when you factor in the majority of the coaches in those 37 teams.

Mark Jones percisely the Ohio state game our defense kept them in check except for the big plays we gave up on third and forever and toward the end Sims threw a critical interception which led to Zeke breaking through and running 69 yards to the end zone from an exhausted beat up defense

every year for the most part Alabama has people leaving to go to the NFL and they have to reload or reload some coaching staff so what else can you expect when sometimes the defenses have to be molded together and learn to work together skip is talking about defenses that could be together year in and year Out Over a four-year span so I don't get his point

Yeah there are some games that Bama gave up yards but there's never "ever" been a dynasty like what Alabama has going. I know there is a ton of Bama fatigue and haters, because if there was another team that was playing for a championship every year like that I would hate em. So Much so. But there has never been anything like this. Unfortunately for me can't win forever. Everything comes to an end, but for now it's amazing.

Keep in mind folks that this is coming from the same guy who says LeBron sucks; Tim Tebow was a better QB than 75% of NFL starters; Eli is better than Peyton; and that SMU would have become bigger & better than Miami during the '80s had the NCAA never caught & penalized them. Anyone who clicked on this hoping Joel Klatt & Shannon Sharpe could dissuade Skip are fools. You can't be rational with those who are irrational.

Skip was just given the unfortunate position by the producers to defend the indefensible. He fails to mention that Saban strategizes his defensive calling to win games, not to win a yards or points beauty contest. Ole Miss scored a defensive TD and two late TDs against prevent. With the best QB in the country. Alabama gave up 33 non garbage time points to Clemson on a night where Watson was out of his mind. There's no shame in that. Skip is willing to go 4 years deep to cherry pick, but wouldn't go 1 year back for Michigan where they gave up 41 to Indiana and 42 to Ohio St? I don't think Skip believes this stuff, he's just in a tough spot because they need debate. If everyone agrees it makes for a really boring show. Unfortunately, to manufacture drama, it requires Skip to hold an intellectually dishonest opinion.

I'm glad Joel Klatt admitted he was wrong when he said in 2015 the dynasty was dead. At least he can own up to his stupid opinions. 1 year and 3 months after this aired, Alabama has gone to the NC game twice and won it this year. Alabama lost to Clemson last year, who had Deshaun Watson who was so good he was ripping up the record books for a rookie in the NFL until he was injured. And even then, Alabama still almost beat Clemson if not for some very fortunate referee calls.

Bad argunents, what ole skip fails to see is with these hurry up offenses ,plays increase from 60-65 plays to 85-90, so by 1/4 to 1/2, more plays more scores, and tired defenses on both sides give up more yards, so his whole reasoning is pretty much BS.

Hate is a blinding emotion. Skip is full of hate for Alabama. Every team will have bad days, but since he arrived at Alabama, his record is impeccable. Nick said it:"Mediocrity hates high achievers and high achievers hate mediocrity". Skip is mediocre at best. Since 2007, Nick has won 126 games and lost 20, that is 84 percent. 2007 was a 7 and 6 year, his first year, since then, 10 consecutive seasons with at least 10 wins ( one 10 win, one 11 win, the rest 12-14 wins). 4 National Championships. Not bad at all. Who can match it or even come close in the same era- No one, period. Statistics can be manipulated to prove any point you wish to make, but the raw facts cannot be denied, except by a hater like Skip. Of course Shannon and Joel were spot on and wiped the floor with big mouth Skip. Roll Tide.

Skip is nothing more than a professional troll. He says the things he does not cause he actually believes it, but because he knows it'll get a rise out of people. He wants people to pay attention to him, and to be relevant. So he says things like LeBron being overrated, Nick Saban being overrated, Tebow being a great quarterback, etc. to get a reaction. However, I'm grateful that Shannon calls him out on his bs on a daily basis. Cause while Shannon has actual FACTS around his point, Skip sticks to repeating the same thing over and over again "what happened against Ohio State" and trying to change the subject.
