One of the best romantic developments i have EVER seen. For me,they are the couple i'll never get over. The creator and writers knew what love was when they created them. They were Perfect in every sense!
Joey was always better with Pacey. Pacey was selfless for her. Dawson was selfish with her. The first part of their relationship was ruined due to Paceys adolescent insecurities. He always thought Joey would either leave him for Dawson or just find better than him. Pacey never realized until later that he deserved Joey. Joey also finally stopped running from her true feelings from Pacey....she always felt Dawson's friendship would go away, but Dawson did his own thing.
Joey loves Pacey from the start but her familiar feelings to Dawson are hiding and blocking her love for Pacey. Their kiss after AJ breakup frustrates her so much because now she cannot control those feelings. The only sad story is how people turn Dawson into a delicate flower.
Joey was in a different place than Dawson on their relationship but Pacey was way out of Joey's league at the beginning. I hated that Joey dragged her story with Dawson until the last episode and not because she was undecided but because she was a coward: it was more and more obvious her and Pacey were meant to be together. Dawson was just orbiting around Joey and that's not a relationship - even though he truly loved her, it is not.
Agreed. Joe was afraid to trust her gut feeling never being ready for Pacey' s love. Finally, she opened her eyes. Pacey had his deamons as well, insecurity and lack of self-worth which pulled him away from Joey. Nevertheless, his love was heart-felt, deep and devoted.Getting wobbly knees when he smiles😍
@@Man.from.the.90sgeneration you should watch the first 3 seasons. Anyway they are both best friends of Dawson, the main character. The show begins with both of them bartering and not really appreciating each other. But early in season 1 Pacey is attracted to Joey, he kisses her or try to kiss her, she refuses because she is in love with Dawson. Pacey has other love interests. They are just friends/enemies. Always sarcastic. Then Joey and Dawson get together, then they break up and Dawson asks Pacey to be close to Joey. So they get close as friends (mind you, Pacey always finds her attractive) and Pacey falls in love first

@@Man.from.the.90sgeneration the thing is they were not that close nor were they friendly friends. their bond could be categorized as frenemies. they had a connection because of dawson but their relationship consisted mostly of banter, hence i do not think pacey would make a big deal of joey forgetting her birthday

I loved Joey and Pacey together,they made a perfect couple.it was great seeing them together,I'm so gutted now Dawsons creek has ended and wish more could be made,with all the same people again.
haha..cos he's 16. not many 16year olds know how to be frank like that. especially when the girl they have kissed is hitting them and rejecting the vulnerability he just went into
He’s not sure how she’ll react. When she originally hits him, he thinks it’s a bad thing, but Dougie later says her overreaction is a good sign. So Pacey kind of lingers around Joey’s orbit for a while and then kisses her again at Dawson’s aunt’s house, where Joey kisses him back.
I might have to rewatch this because i remember it being such a good show, i wouldn't miss an episode. Oh and i remember listening to that last song over and over, and the feels
I remember being happy when they got together. And wanted them to break up after a couple of season 4 episodes. This is the kind of TV couples that looked good on paper, only.
