If you guys need more of an expert in the competitive eating scene, im free to discuss some of the eaters and what to expect on the 4th. Just throwing that out there. Joey remains the king for sure, but Badlands doesnt eat and does the chugs. Even if he were to, you wouldnt see numbers from him. Right now this year you will see a very competitive field with around 58 hot dogs will win. Doubtful the 60+ will eclipse but you have like 5 eaters all hovering around high 40s low 50s. So it will be VERY close. With in my opinion James Webb being the winner.

Why is Nathan's acting so hurt about this? The dude isn't a vegan, he's just endorsing a product. If a vegan hotdog company makes a product so good that a known meat eater will endorse it, it'll be more a win for them than a loss for Nathans. Impossible foods is a publicly traded company valued at 10 billion dollars. If people didn't want their product, it would have folded a long time ago. If they're introducing a hot dog, it will most likely have a difficult time staying in stock and brutal to get a hold of. Also Ben and Jerry's has a line of non-dairy ice cream that's been very successful for them. I think it's easy to not see how big something is if you're not interested in it. I switched to plant milk and all my stomach issues went away. About 65% of the worlds population is lactose intolerant, most people either ignore the feeling or think that's just how life is.
