Such a 2000's duel and I loved it, especially the classic blunder of thinking anime and manga cards have their busted effects in the OCG outside of the handful allowed in DL! XD
Bro I still remember Joey’s duel against Marik he gave it everything he had to rescue Mai and he was still standing after the Wing Dragon of Ra attack him and he was so close to winning but he fainted and seeing everyone’s reaction especially his sister Serenity broke my heart!
The first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! didn't have consistent rules because the card game IRL didn't even exist yet, and even when the real card game came out, it didn't have solidified master rules until the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's era. It's better to think of the early Yu-Gi-Oh anime's card game being more of a tabletop role playing game
@@TobiaSR32 In its first appearance in the anime, it has the fusion card border, but it's later changed to the normal card border. Probably because it's a pretty bad card as it is.

@@TheDarko1998 I just had a game where I forced him to use orange light with Maxx C, then ashed his Alpha, after that in my turn I banished all his key drytron cards in GY.
I never watched yugioh as a kid, I was much more interested in Pokémon and dragonball, however I started playing Master Duel cause of you Doto and I blame this new addiction entirely on you.

Now this some Yu gi oh I can watch. Understandable cards without a bible written in them for effects. Definitely do more of this vanilla and/or GX canon duel decks.
Pretty well done, just missing the speeches explaining card effects each time one triggers... Then again, both Doto and Deion may end up like Wheeler if that happened for *every card*

you guys rock! epic & awesome match ups! bringing back the epic nostalgia! Cant stop laughing with all the jokes and banter as well as the character voices. Would love to see some more battle city match ups and maybe a Maku Tsunami VS Joey duel.
This is a great video idea. It would be awesome to have a series where you go through one of the anime seasons with their structure decks or some approximation of their deck in that specific episode. I wish Master Duel had an ante system so you could actually lose cards, would make doing the battle city season more immersive. Either way love seeing these non optimal duels.

Hey Doto, I'd love to see more of these character inspired thematic duels. Would be cool to see Pegasus Vs Yugi, maybe? Or maybe Jaden (Yugioh GX) Vs Doctor Crowler? Zane Vs Syrus would also be really cool from Yugioh GX
you could have use sangan to search witch of the black forest, then the next turn if witch of the black forest is sent to the graveyard then you can serch for jinzo
