Bakayoko only uses his right leg to stand on, but he is a very creative player nonetheless. Even though PSV has other good wingers (Noa Lang, Hirving Lozano, Malik Tillman), Bakayoko started almost every game this last season. He wouldn't replace Salah's goals for Liverpool, but it is worth looking at the assists that Bakayoko can add.
I wouldn't put the type of pressure on this young player let him be himself, what madrid learn the vini jr was not going to replace cr7 but he could still make big impact on his own way
This guy is very football smart and on point than Diaz. They don't play same position but this lad is a good replacement for mo Salah and it's best we get him dis summer and cash in on Salah now if not we'll be taking of 100million+ price tag
I followed the likes of Sambi Lokonga, Jérémy Doku and Johan Bakayoko for years, all since 2018/2019 when they were players at Anderlecht. While Doku has had the bigger career already playing at the highest level in France and now playing for City, injuries have always been a problem for him. The reason he hasn’t gotten plenty this season is because of the lack of game time. It’s being managed well, which makes sense given City’s depth, but he’ll never become a consistent starter. Neither will he become a goalscorer, he’s never had that in him. While Bakayoko has always had the heigher ceiling, he’s also a brilliant dribbler and has quick feet but he’s also more direct in front of goal. He’s never showed any signs of injuries and he’s someone who can play all 38 games a season if you need him too. Great presser when out of possession, amazing ball carrier when counter attacking. Can cut in and make a powerful shot or deliver a cross/pass with both feet. One of the best 1 on 1 dribblers of the moment. Honestly an exciting talent that every club should want! He’d be a brilliant signing, as a Liverpool fan from Belgium, I can’t wait to see him play at the highest level. He’s the closest thing you can find in the current market to Salah (the young electric version when we signed him, obviously he doesn’t come near the current one)
@@Larsd69 Bakayoko is the next big thing here in Belgium (after Doku maybe) but there's a big difference when he played for PSV and Belgium national team this year. The defenses in the Eredivisie are very very poor and it's pretty easy to score a lot of goals, that's not the same thing when he played with Belgium. The last matches he played for Belgium were not so great because there were decent defenses in front of him. Don't mind, he's a very good player but for me he has to sign in a club in Bundesliga, Liverpool is a too bigger step for him
@@ivanlecky7563 I get that a club like Dortmund is the smart thing to do for him personally. But for Liverpool it’s smarter to get him now instead of getting him in 2 years for double the price. With players like Salah as mentor, a new coach coming in that he knows well and lots of minutes with the amount of games they play in England, he can get plenty of experience before becoming a starter when Salah leaves next year. Mohammed Kudus is a great example that making that step from Eredivisie to the Premier League is possible. Cody and Noni had a tougher start but are both in brilliant form. We should be all over Bakayoko, he’s the next big thing.
I don't see any reason why liverpool should fail to buy him technically he is good his finishing is also better the speed or my he is just 21years and the price tag is ok kudos is good but 85m is to much
He's a very interesting player but he has to go to a club in Bundesliga like BVB or another. Liverpool is too big for him at this time and the eredivisie defenses are terrible as always. Premier League isn't a good league for him
He looks great now but looking at his build I can see him being too bulky and losing his speed within a couple of years. I wouldn’t buy him unless it was for peanuts and you have priced in the fact he will be past it in 2-3 years.
Liverpool must sell salah and replace him if liverpool not sale salah already the decline begin Salah and nunez must sell and buy bakoyoko and gyokeres Olso sell diaz and re invest for Arne slot.
Doku has always been injury prone and doesn’t have that goalscorer instinct which can’t be taught. Bakayoko is more direct and while also being rapid and dribbling like a menace, he can also provide goals and assists on a consistent basis. He has the heigher ceiling and every club should want him. Similar to that electric Salah when we signed him, great dribbler, absolutely rapid and some G/A. obviously not saying he’ll ever come close to Salah, but he’s similar to the one we bought and just look at what Salah did in his very first season for us. But I do agree that a move to Borussia would be ideal for his career, 2 years there and he’s ready to destroy the prem.
@@kloppsippingvarsenaltears2789 it’s not just about his pace, his explosive dribbling is elite. Every PL side uses atleast 2 sometimes 3 players to defend him when he’s on the ball. Which opens op space for his teammates and leaves 1 or 2 players uncovered. His decision making isn’t the best right now, but he’s capable of opening up space and giving the right pass when needed.
Only 12 goals in a shitty farmer leauge. No thanks. Arne Slot dont make us a new Ten Hag United - with only farmer leauge players coming to Premier Leauge.
