Something that separated Cruyff from many of the other top dribblers of the ball was the amount of assists. He almost always passed to a team mate when they had the better chance of scoring.
@@johnhughes8466 Maradona, Messi and Pele are my other 3.... however if you're only talking pure footballing ability at their very best then yes I agree George Best is in this elite group... what a gifted player he was... but he didn't do it for as long as the other guys so I can't put him over them.... I also haven't seen enough footage of Di Stefano to judge properly and say if he is better than the guys I mentioned.
@@Bill-Butcher Well Best was in the side from 63 to 74 and was at his best for a good 8 yrs and in those yrs was the best player I have ever seen and for that matter to me he is the greatest of alltime! I have never seen a footballer like him in my or any other time ! The 2 best players of alltime are Best & Cruijff! They are out in front of all the others!

Cruyff get the ball at the line of the field,the Greek defender stand 4 meter far but is afraid to attack,then Cruyff shoot (chipp)the ball to the Greek defender with contra effect...the moment the Greek defender want to hit the ball,the ball rolls back till Cruyff get it under his feet..........

Even if Cruyff never dribbled his vision,accuracy,passing, organising and all round leadership was unmatched, add the dribbling then ....simply put....the greatest player of all!
