Just finished this anime in three days. Johan is the emptiest person I've ever encounter in fiction, or real life. There's nothing inside of him. And yet there is everything also. Everything and nothing. That's what the end is, and that is who Johan is. It's the saddest show ever.
@@katie5998 The parallel Tenma and Johan had with their ideologies was top tier. Johan believing life is only equal in death, and Tenma contrasting that with "All life is precious and worth saving." Their final confrontation in Ruhenheim was a literal clash between good and evil. But was Johan the real monster in the story?
johan as a villain provided the toughest battle ever and it wasnt even a physical fight it was a mental fight to break down dr. tenma's character. in the end johan lost but his performance as a villain was amazing.
I've been a long-time fan of 'Monster,' and the thought of it getting reanimated has me both excited and anxious. The original series was a masterpiece, and I hope any potential remake would do justice to Naoki Urasawa's incredible storytelling. Johan Liebert remains one of the most complex and chilling characters in anime history. Here's to hoping that if a reanimation happens, it captures the essence and depth of the original. 📺👹

The editing is still very good, but the song really doesn't fit with the theme of the series or Johan's character, of course others may disagree. I'm also just not a fan of that music, which might be a large factor. This is just my opinion of course, you and others may disagree
I still don’t understand how Richard fell for it. It would make more sense if Johan pushed him but it was said to be a suicide. He was so excited to see his daughter, he was making sure to stay away from alcohol, and yet, Johan (a guy he literally didn’t know) only said a few words barely significant and he just killed himself? It’s just weird lmao..
this edit is the best i have seen. infact this is what inspired me to turn into a johan-like personality, only because everyone keeps underestimating me and no one cares about me. now illl make them see WHO i really am..
People think Johan is evil but actually he isn't he is simply in a rebellious state. Ik ik don't hate me just listen.. johan was told all sorts of crazy as stuff as a child but he didn't think it was totally true. For example:- u have conservative parents and till ur 18 u listen to them and their ideals but when u grow up u realise how wrong you were but some things will still be etched in you no matter what. When u learn the truth u will make amends but ur means still will be the ones which were inscribed in you. Johan is such a tragic character he knows what he has done is bad and is trying to save his sister but his ideals and methods contrast to mennma. Thats why ruhenheim is so perfect good vs good intentions bad execution with people stuck in their tussle. Johan is mennma but with twisted ideals. PS :-great edit

Actually yes, I had a massive problem with copyright. After maybe a week of the video being uploaded, it got unlisted due to copyright infringement. I submitted an appeal to the copyright holder, (which they have 30 days to respond to or it times out and the video has no penalties administered,) and after waiting until the last day, they were "making a response" for a few days to drag it out until that ALSO expired, and now the video has no copyright stikes. I have no idea what their plan was waiting until the last day to formulate a response, but it worked out in my favor massively.
