I think it's because when franz came to take one of them and his mother had to choose between them which one to give and which one to keep the one given was unwanted
@@JimmY69- But they were still loved, right? The mother still cared about both very much, so I don't understand why he thinks he doesn't matter to his mother
@@Namae_. Yeah she loved them but when franz came to take on away she shouldn't have chose any she could have resisted and let them take one but she chose that's I think what johan was talking about
