Here is a very short and solemn prelude/verset composed by Johann Christian Heinrich Rinck (18 February 1770 - 23 July 1846). Rinck studied with Johann Christian Kittel (1732-1809), who himself was a pupil of Johann Sebastian Bach, and eventually became kantor at the music school in Darmstadt, Germany where he was also a court organist from 1813. He was a prolific composer who, in addition to more advanced and sophisticated works, wrote many of these short pieces that can be found in various old organists' handbooks of the 19th century. I did an earlier version of this short piece using a different organ.
Played on the sample set for the 2012 Kaminski organ in Długa Kościelna, Poland. Sample set by Piotr Grabowski.
