what a technique....great separation of voices, it takes perfect control and Johanna is a Master! Very respectful of the composer and music, yet a lot of feelings in this playing...I don't know how she does it, but she does!
Indeed, I am really proud of her ! She brought this piece to a whole new level which is surprisingly beautiful. I'm glad not to be deaf as my old friend beethoven and be able to hear my own pieces !

This is more than I was expecting. Super ,super fantastic. I heard this Serenade with a lot of different instruments but not so supreme like this solo with Johanna Beisteiner. It chills all hairs of the body.
This is the most beautiful interpretation of the beloved Schubert´s song. So much passion and feeling and knowledge of Schubert´s music is rare to fusion in an interpreter, no matter what instrument it is. Bravo Johanna

Sencillamente demuestra un gran talento natural que está pasando por su etapa de consolidación profesional a muy altos niveles de perfeccionamiento de un estilo propio de ejecución instrumental. Classical guitar simply does not get better than this. I love the whole video and have never heard such a well produced nylon sound..absolutely love the effects and tone its all just like nectar of the Gods to my ears. Bravo a thousand times for this lovely arrangement and performance.

Johanna Beisteiner is still the best performer for this piece of Schubert from J.K.Mertz. I looked at her face, her fingers when she played . She IS the maestro !!
A lot of people play the guitar on Earth, mostly at an average level or good enough to be acceptable to hear... even for professional musicians. Very few people are really true talented guitarists who can make a guitar "sing" & "speak". This woman is truly a genius: her touch on the strings is magical because it is subtle & gentle.
This is a beautiful interpretation of a wonderful piece, played at the right tempo's (the retardant parts included!) Maybe slightly less reverb but that's only my taste. I really like it that there seems to appear more female classical guitar players that do add some sensitivity in a way to guitar playing as a whole! GREAT!
