ABSOLUTION is a piece for vibraphone, which is composed of two parts.
The first part is progressive and full of “toxic energy”, that gets continuously
out of control. The second part is from another world, calming down, looking back and reflecting.
The piece ABSOLUTION is dedicated to my exceptional friend Frank Grundmann (1961 - 2023). My special thanks go to Nozomi Hiwatashi for her ingenious interpretation and to Thorsten Blumberg for the production of the mesmerizing release video.
I wish all performers and listeners of ABSOLUTION a very special experience.
