This is not true.The true Bible(NKJV) does not mention this.The pagans had created that event,so they can benefit from it.Jesus Christ is coming back pretty soon.Therefore,let's repent of our sins,and embrace all His 10 commandments with no exclusion.Sabbath(rest) which is the 7th day not the 1s day.

@@noblesessalina445 I remember reading that on the internet however, the internet is not always correct especially when it comes to religion. The message of Christmas I believe is different for everyone but I take it as a season of giving. To give, to serve, to love, to bring happiness to those who need it. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have felt the love of Christ and seen miracles that no mortal can explain. The devil can not falsify the love of Christ for all he wants is misery for the sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. The Bible has been through many translations and many of the plain and precious things of the gospel have been removed. And that's where the Book of Mormon comes in. The Lord Jesus Christ visited the America's and taught the people there. But his gospel was eradicated from the earth due to iniquity and the sins of the people. But Joseph Smith was picked to bring about the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And through him the Lord's church was once again established. We sustain and love all of our prophets of Jesus Christ. Our Lord would not set us on this earth gives us one book and then tell us to figure it out from this one book. We are meant to learn and grow. To love everyone including our enemy as the Lord did. To lead by example, give to the poor, feed the hungry, cloth the naked, take in the stranger, weep with those that weep. We pray for inspiration to always know what is right and to always have the Holy Ghost to be with us. I've been to many churches and studied different religions but something was always missing. Until I came back to my home church. I know I belong and I know the Lord loves me, you, and everyone on this earth before, now, and in the future. I believe that families can be together when we are resurrected and this I have a firm testimony. Everything is trial and error. Even now some people reject the gospel say it isn't true, or that we are going about it wrong. I tell you ask of God with a sincere heart and with the intent to act and he will manifest the truth of it unto you. Humble yourself before the Creator and be lowly of heart. I don't know where you come from, what religion you come from, or who you are but I just want you to know that I love you, Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ love you and they know everything you're feeling, where your heart is , the desires of your heart, and what you need. So I pray that when judgement day comes we can stand together as sisters and brothers, sons and daughters of God. Full of love and joy for each and all of us. I don't know all things but I know who I serve and where my heart is. I leave my testimony with a humble heart and loving soul. You are off great worth in the eyes of the Lord.
