John seems to be a so easy going guy! In all his interviews he's always so focus in every detail of his gear, like he's know it that in the other side there's a bunch of people hungry for information about gear and relationed stuffs. I never get tired of see his interviews and shows. I don't like to be named "fan" but with John 5 I have to say that I'm proud to be.

It’s kinda cool how he focuses on stuff like the TV’s in the cabs and the LED guitars, it kinda shows that he wants to be able to impress people with both musical creativity and creativity in his stage presence.

I got to meet he and Brian and John when he was still in Manson and both guys were just awesome to talk to. I love John 5 I think he is underrated as strictly a guitar player. The guy is an absolute monstet and can play almost anything. Amazing guy amazing guitarist

You rock John!! I have seen him twice this past year , once at Louie G's in Fife, WA which was absolutely phenomenal and then a few months back at the Tacoma guitar festival at the Tacoma dome! Him and the creatures were amazing to say the least! His bass player Ian is fucking awesome! So was the drummer. One of the tightest groups I've ever seen! Can't wait until you come back to Washington!

Love John 5 and the Creatures! I was blessed to see them, front row, at a little opera house in Lebanon NH a few years back. Leb is the biggest and only "city" 1/2 hr drive from my home in the hills. It was the most fun and good hearted show I have ever been to , J5 and the Creatures have good vibes, decent people, amazing musicians.

Custom ESP but yeah same thing. In fact, I think the only time I know of that Kirk played his Wavecaster was in the cunning stunts concert video for "Am I Evil".

Riggs used to have one made by fernandez guitars that he pointed pigs blood into mixed with everclear and would pour over himself and the crowd during the shows

Just saw him on this tour at Trees Dallas and it was a killer show. He talks starting at 7:15 about thinking of ways to entertain the crowd and this was very evident during his entire set. He's a must see live IMO.

John 5 is an amazing human being. Amazing guitarist, interesting to listen to, and seems like a really nice and personable guy. He is a monster on a Tele, I can't think of any other player who encompasses the dynamic range of styles and sounds that he gets from the most minimal setup. He made a Tele fan out of me, I built a bunch of them when I started learning how to build guitars and it's turned into a great passion and second income and it started from watching a John 5 video at the Fender custom shop where they were filming the build of one of his signature Tele's, the one with the crazy paddle headstock. Right then I decided I wanted to build guitars and now a few years later I have my own custom shop, crazy how people can influence other people without even knowing it. I would love to build a guitar for John 5.

On the subject of not using earplugs, I don't know if it makes a difference, but at least he typically has more room (on a bigger stage). I was in a band and always stood just 2 feet away from the left side of the drum set, right were his crash was and I probably lost about 5% hearing out of my right ear, because I didn't wear earplugs. I never liked wearing earplugs, but I kinda wish I had.

You can tell John 5 is heavily influenced by KISS/Ace Frehley with that lighted guitar. He put his own spin on it, which is super cool. Seems like a great guy who doesn't have that rock star ego.

Unless you are hoping that you will get constant comparisons to Beethoven in the not too distant future when your hearing has gotten so noticeably bad that it’s completely obvious to everyone that you are deaf? Please John, protect your hearing!

Why does he mention 440hz tuning so much? What other frequency would he be using? Most tuners are already 440hz and not changeable. I have a tuner that allows me to change the hz. I tuned my tele to 432hz and it's noticeably better than 440
