Miracles bring awareness that God is real and near to us. But along with that awareness is the danger of seeking the Lord not for who He is, but for what He does. Some people only seek Him because they want what He can give them. In this study, we see that Jesus wanted people to know the true miracle: that they can be eternally saved simply by believing in Him.
This teaching is from our series 43 John - 2016 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.

There are only two priests in the order of Melkizedek. Melkizedek, and Jesus. The RCC and Mormonism both claim to have priests in the order of Melkizedek. PLEASE study the letter to the Hebrews. You might come to realize how seriously God took the old covenant priesthood, that was only from the tribe of Levi...and anyone else who acted as priests were put to death. Jesus was from the tribe of Judah. He offered himself as a sinless sacrifice...once for all. PLEASE let the word of God speak to you. Don't fear the RCC. God does not dwell in tabernacles made by human hands. Peace.

Only the Holy Roman Catholic church founded on Peter by Christ has the authority to teach on faith and Morals by the Holy Spirit of truth. the Eucharistic presence of Christ is true, Christ is present body, blood, soul and divinity. The Aramaic Jesus spoke is literal on eating his flesh and drinking his blood. The term “eat” in Aramaic is translated as “ gnaw” . Peace be from God to all my brothers and Sisters🙏🏼

The only true human (sinful) priests were from the tribe of Levi...who offered gifts and sacrifices for their sins and the sins of the people. Jesus (sinless) was from the tribe of Judah. He offered HIMSELF. God didn't establish a church that requires another human (sinful) priesthood that offers sacrifices. He took the Levitical priesthood seriously. That's why anyone other than priests from the tribe of Levi, who acted as priests were put to death. Both Roman Catholicism and Mormonism claim to have priests in the order of Melkizedek, but it was only Jesus to whom God swore an oath that He is a priest forever in the order of Melkizedek. God does not dwell in tabernacles made by human hands.

Pastor Skip, I get it now. Those 666ers. They left Jesus because he told them they had to eat his Symbolic Body and Symbolic Blood. That is hard teaching. His Symbolic Body and Symbolic Blood is greater than the Manna. Just one question.I can't find anywhere in the Bible where Spirit is the same as Symbolic. Father, Son and Holy Symbolic.

When people wrongly take Jesus literally. Jesus corrects them and explains: John 3:3-5, 6:32-35, 8:31-36, 12:11-14, 4:31-34, Mat 16:5-12, Mat 19:24-26 When people rightly take Jesus literally Jesus confirms and repeats: Mat 8:2-6, Jn 8:36-59, Jn 6:45-51. One of the few exceptions when Jesus does not explain, is Jn 2:19, but the Gospel's writer does explain that "temple" means Jesus' body. The figurative use of "eat my flesh and drink my blood" in the 1st c. Semetic context... In Aramaic, as well as Hebrew, Arabic, Koine Greek, and even Modern Greek, to "eat the flesh and drink the blood" of another human being has a specific figurative or metaphorical meaning, namely to destroy, assault, persecute; especially by slander or calumny. Anne Rice let me know (yes, THAT Anne Rice, via the old Amazon forums) that even today, a Middle East laborer will say "I drank my own blood today" as a metaphor for an especially hard work day Even in Scripture, this figurative usage is consistent... Ps 27:2 evildoers devour my flesh Is 9:18:20 each devours neighbor's flesh Is 49:26 make your oppressors eat their own flesh Micah 3:3 eat the flesh of my people, chop them up like meat in a kettle, like flesh in a cauldron 2Sam 23:15-17 Shall I drink the blood of the men who went at the risk of their lives? When you say it is both, Devine Election and man's responsibility, l cannot find it anywhere in Scripture. It is ONLY Devine Election, what GOD does, not what we do. If it is what we also do then it is works for which we in ourselves have reason to boast. And He was saying, “This is the reason why I have told you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him [that is, unless he is enabled to do so] by the Father.” John 6:65

Jesus said “Unless you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you will have no life within you.” There are two beliefs: 1. Real Presence 2. Symbolic Real presence is believing the bread and wine are substancially transformed into the flesh and blood of Christ. Symbolic is believing the bread and wine do not become real flesh and blood. Which is right? There are two kinds of theology: 1. Believing - they look for reasons to believe and understand. 2. Denying - they look for reasons to disbelieve and deny. Which are you?

61 I Am Present in the Eucharist despite the misinterpretation of My Promise Thursday, April 14th, 2011 @ 00:05 My dearly beloved daughter, do not worry. You are improving in the way you are setting time aside in prayer to Me. Now it is important that man understands that in order to come closer to My Heart, he must understand the need to receive the Sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist. Many people, including other Christian groups, deny My Real Presence in the Eucharist. Why they have decided to deny the promises I made at My Last Supper, where I promised I would give My Flesh and Blood as Food and Nourishment for your souls, is unclear. What is clear is that the Miracle of the Holy Eucharist, Present in all Tabernacles all over the world, Exists today, and is there to fill your poor, undernourished and empty souls with My Presence. This Presence will strengthen you in ways, that, were you to miss receiving Me once you get used to this, you will feel lost. Many Christians ignore one of the most fundamental promises I made during My Crucifixion, where I would be Present in Bread and Wine and leave a permanent mark to help nourish souls. Too much human reasoning has meant that I have been rejected by even well meaning Christians. These same Christians cannot receive the Holy Eucharist in its True Form. The Most Holy Eucharist was given to you all as a great Gift for your redemption and salvation. By rejecting the fact that I Am Present, means that you are forfeiting special graces, which are part of a pact to bring Me even closer into your hearts. Remember, when I died for you, it was to lead you to towards eternal life and salvation. Receive Me as the Living Presence and your souls will alight in ways you would not have believed possible. Turn back to receiving My Body and Blood. Let Me remove your doubts. This is one of the biggest mistakes Christians have made, by denying Me entry to their souls in this way. It greatly offends My Eternal Father because of the Sacrifice involved to save your souls. Let Me bring Light and nourishment into your lives. You will be more inclined to accept the Truth of My Teaching after The Warning takes place. Remember what I promised during My Last Supper that when you take the bread and wine it will become for you My Body and My Blood.* Any other interpretation has been distorted by human logic and reasoning. Now understand and accept the Truth. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. This chapter was confusing me. I am glad I found your teaching on this. So are there some the Father doesn't draw? Do we need to pray that God will draw those we are wan'ting to see saved?

Thank you for watching Pastor Skip’s teaching on John chapter 6. You raise a very important question as it relates to how God draws people to himself. To answer this question, I will refer to Norman Geisler’s book called Systematic Theology. Can anyone believe unto salvation without God’s special grace? Even though faith is possible for the unsaved, nonetheless, no one can believe unto salvation (to have saving faith) without the aid of God’s special grace. Jesus says, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me has drawn him” (John 6:44). Paul adds, “By the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect” (1 Cor. 15:10). Jesus promises, “My grace is sufficient for you” (2 Cor. 12:9). Paul confessed, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength” (Phil. 4:13). Indeed, David acknowledged to God, “Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” (1 Chron. 29:14). However, although no one can believe unto salvation without the aid of God’s saving grace, the gracious action by which we are saved is not monergistic (an act of God alone) but synergistic (and act of God and our free choice). Salvation comes from God, but it is received by our cooperation, as we have noted, His grace is not exercised on a passive object but on an active agent. I hope that this response serves to clear up the questions that you posed. I recommend Norman Geisler’s book on salvation called Chosen but Free for any other questions you might have on the subject. They've been a great blessing to me in my personal walk with Christ, and with my own studies and ministries that God has placed me in. That said, I in no way, mean any disrespect my brother (Cesar Loya) in Christ, but if you could please just directly answer djfg1938's question, "So are there some the Father doesn't draw?" it would be greatly appreciated. As I already know what I believe this passage is saying regarding God's drawing of souls, but I would like to know what Skip Heitzig, and the ministry team at your church believes on this passage, which has been for several decades, a hotly debated topic and still is, one of the hottest, today. I understand that only by God's grace (God's part), through faith (man's part), is what all saved souls are saved by (Eph. 2:8-9), but do you guys believe that God's SAVING grace is only limited to the few souls that He selects to draw and has created for Heaven before the foundation of the world (Eph. 1:4)? And, therefore, by implication, believe that all other souls don't get SAVING grace and therefore, were created for and are predestined by God for hell? Meaning, the Father didn't draw them and created them for hell? Again, I ask this question with all love and respect as your brother in Christ. Due to the fact that in my pursuit to continuously walk right (in holiness) with Christ, I'm always checking my own walk (1 Cor. 10:12). In short, I don't want to be right, I just want to be right (by faith in Christ) with God. I'll standby for your answer. Sloppy exegesis of John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.” Jesus is not referencing what he said in John 6:53-58. He is answering the question: “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?” (John 6:60). Because Jesus’s words are Spirit and life, when He says “This is my body, this is my blood,” the bread and the wine are his body and blood. Those who are operating in the flesh (like this preacher) cannot accept what Jesus teaches, only the Holy Spirit can enable him to accept this teaching. Praying that Skip Heitzig repents of his apostasy.
