America's Town Hall: John Avlon, editor-in-chief of The Daily Beast, discusses the first president’s momentous and prescient farewell address to the nation and how the address could help reunite America through the lessons rooted in Washington’s experience as described in his new book, Washington’s Farewell: The Founding
Father’s Warning to Future Generations. Michael Gerhardt, scholar-in-residence at the National Constitution Center, moderates.

I believe the Future Long Term Peace and Happiness for Humanity is possible when all the Nations of the World Unite under a Federal System. I have been translating the Federalist Papers to Farsi and posting them on RU-vid. If you are bilingual and have a fair knowledge of American History, please send me a note. I want to encourage you to translate these papers into your other language and teach English at the same time.

Members of the lunatic fringe, such as John Avlon, should not be taken seriously when discussing the constitution. He hates the Constitution, except to name-drop it as a political tool. For example, as 23:24, he states: _"even President Obama's farewell address warns about threats to our democracy."_ The greatest threat to our republic since Alexander Hamilton was Barry Obama; Lincoln before Obama. All three were big-government, crony-capitalistic control freaks, who favored the few over the many. If Avlon was a serious constitutional scholar, rather than a left-wing political hack, he would know that. He would also know that the Founding Fathers despised democracy. Marx, on the other hand, embraced it. Dan

That's all you pulled from this Dan? John has always been Independent, he's married to a Republican, and descendant of Hoover and was Rudy's speech writer during 911. He only referenced Obama's Farewell speech because he quoted G.W. & spoke of the dangers for the future of such a toxic political divide. Nothing about his presidency. You don't think like Lincoln either, huh? Shocking..
