I have now listened to Jean Shinoda Bolen and John Beebe on your channel and so grateful to you all for the opportunity to hear these Jungian icons engaged from the perspective of those on the path of individuation but not so far along that the discussion occurs in a shorthand with which I can't yet engage. Is the auxiliary /father /mother the same thing as “The Inner Parent” that self-help books teach us to journal with in order to parent our inner child? And is the Child that “we need to Parent” the same thing as the eternal child? Thus For people who have not developed their auxiliary parent it would make it hard to do inner parenting work?

What a self- absorbed person he is, me me me... Anyways, so he came up with the model from his own personal subjective experience about himself? Basically because he wanted to be all 8 personality types proposed by Jung, the typical "I do everything" self-assessment
