He held out for a multimillion book deal instead. Typical Republican lining his pockets instead of doing the right thing. We could be rid of that national security threat sitting in the White House by now.

As a moderate I honestly don't believe this country will move forward til we have future americans that believe that both parties are RIGHT when it comes to issues instead of both parties being wrong. Bolton is a scary example of where this country is going. If people continue to be Politically Bias and would rather destroy this country rather then endorse the better party then we are going to keep going down a dark path. The Fall of the Roman Republic was due to decades and decades of stale mates between both wings of the senate which divided the country and led to the power rise of Julius Caesar.

Colbert has displayed his balls of steel a long time ago --- I knew he wouldn't let him off easy.

Watching this months later, he did a better job interviewing this scumbag then actual journalist.

He IS the modern substitute for a journalist. There are very few in the mainstream news media who can match Colbert in terms of actually INFORMING THE PUBLIC regarding to the sheer magnitude of this absolute sh*t-show disaster we are living through.

@@Avenger222 I think it's less "misinform" and more distract or repeat "the spin cycle"--there are stories Stephen chooses to simultaneously cover that everyone else does.... I'm sure he could report on much more immediate and fresh content. THAT BEING SAID, Stephen knows he has a giant viewership and perhaps aims to combat the dangerously biased views of other networks and personalities with his attempts at some--if not neutral (who are we kidding, Stephen is not a neutral guy)--just, or fair or democratic or honest point of view. *shrugs

Journalists have to present what is being discussed in public debate in an "unbiased" fashion. Republicans exploit this to get the media to debate BS like Antifa in the midst of peaceful protests against police brutality. Comedic news pivots (Seth Meyers, Colbert, Trevor Noah) are in a much better standing to comment on reality when the debate is so polarized because they have no qualms with calling bullshit when they see it, because they are in the business ot telling the truth while entertaining you, they are not in the business of fabricating consent and propping up BS because they are afraid of being called biased.
