This video is so good it almost made me cry...no jokes. John is an amazing person and role model whether or not you like arm wrestling. He has been dominating a sport for 25 years like nobody else has in any sport at any time in history. All the while he was doing this as the smaller warrior slaying the giants with both arms. He is just incredible...as soon as you think he might be slipping with old age he comes back with a vengeance. I can only hope to be 1/100th of the man John Brzenk is.

The best of the best. In my opinion, the guy had an amazing 3 peaks that were years apart. So much dominance over such a great length of time

I cannot describe the pleasure I get out of watching Brzenk shoulder-mash Michael Todd. And then when Todd abandons that ugly, ridiculous technique, Brzenk mashes him again. And then AGAIN.

I have met John and shook his hand. It was an honor. He is better at Arm wrestling than Mike Tyson was at fighting in his prime.

I guess for me John is just a pleasant person. His competitive moments is at the table where he will show you how good he is. He doesnt talk trash . He is so humble in his interviews. He is almost to mellow for how great he has been over the years. If he didnt have shoulder issues I think he would still give the best out there all they wanted in a match

With the exception of his match against Pushkar at the A1 (and Pushkar was SCARY at that event), Brzenk has been dominating this year. It's amazing to see this guy still crushing it after almost 30 years.

John proves that it's not how strong you are or the attributes you bring to the table, it's about your knowledge, experience and sheer willpower inside yourself that ends up being the key for succeeding in everything especially life.

John's been natural his entire life. He'll go a long way in competitions. Others, i can't say the same for them.

Please don't hate on Michael Todd. Most of us will never get a chance to see the legends of arm wrestling, let alone pull them. Michael had it and won some of them and became one of the best ever. Like it or not. Why dont you see a warrior in him? He lost range of motion and he still fights and compete. Btw, he achieved something most of us can only dream about.

Oh, and to those idiots who claim Chaffee was tired at the A1 after pulling Cyplenkov: these guys are professionals who do this all damn day. Everyone was pulling the best of the best. John just whooped him. If you've ever seen them at the side tables during and after events, John usually beats Dave. Styles make fights; Michael Todd has creamed Chaffee whenever they've gone at it too. People need to remember that Brzenk also owns a winning record against Cyplenkov and Todd. Who can claim that? There are just some big guys he has figured out when everybody else struggles with them. A healthy Devon Larratt is about the only guy who is well rounded enough to take everybody.

Just too sick.. and he was considering retirement in what, 2004?? Some people are just the exception to the rule as far as age goes. Did Brzenk not go up in weight for awhile to take these monsters on? But yeah, just awesome stuff.

brilliant video fave scene has to be at the 3.28 the opponent on the right goes down to the floor full weight and Mr Brzenk just watches the opponent and casually watches and waits. at 3.51 Mr Brzenk switches on like a machine and takes his opponent over the top!! great stuff
