The first time I heard this a few years ago, I thought "Wow what a beautiful song," and then I listened to the lyrics and realized what it's about. A great song by a great story teller.
ich war da geniales konzert ,alle waren gut drauf ,die fans, die band !!! Alle guten lieder wurden gespielt! und newton faulkner als vorband ....TOP!"!
ah man i just saw him play this song last night - it was so amazing! i never realized how in tune they were with each other, like the guitaring and the xylophone it was incredible i love that guy!
i just cant get over how each and everyone of his songs are this good. i just wish i could pick up a guitar and be able to play one of his songs, or even have the mind to create one
This song is almost heart wrenching. the lyrics: And no one could convince or pay her double or tell her she was too young to die make me wanna cry He is a true legend
if by Pontiac you mean Kool Haus in toronto then awesome :) but i think we went to different concerts - which is alright b/c it probably means that you didn't have to wait around for +2 hours before someone came on stage he really is awesome though - i wish i could've stayed for the whole thing :'(
This song is about Caroline Reed Robertson, a depressed nineteen year-old girl who violently killed 15 year old Rachel Barber, a ballerina who lived across from her. This song is featured in the movie In Her Skin, which is based on the murder. Caroline is coming out of jail in 2013 with parole.
