God bless you (I mean this in the best way) for putting this up. In all the many years I've traveled great distances and spent much money for John Cale recordings, I'd never come across this. It's fucking great.
Fantastic version of Fear, which I realized while listening is on one of my Cale bootlegs purchased in the mid 90s. The other three I'm not familiar with, so thanks for sharing.
Chris Spedding on guitar what a varied career has this guy had, from producing Sex Pistols 1st demo to performing on Wombles tracks for years! Oh mustn't forget his novelty hit 'Motor Bikin'... talented guitarist.
Im a fuckin more than that,Im the avenging angel, and even now the truth that the nightmare is the internet, ive allready been eraserheaded one time now, shall it ever be like loosing teeth, all this eraserheDING?iM ONLY ASKING FIOR FUCJKS SAKE!!!???
very good...almost better than the album versions, very high quality recording. There must be more somewhere as they wouldn't have only recorded 4 songs
afterlife4u2 Peel sessions were typically three of four tracks... played across a two hour radio show. Individual tracks would then be revisited in later shows
Any more Peel/Cale tunes. I remember listening one night after my duties in the kitchen, one night whilst serving on a small mercantile ship. Somewhere there must be a crazy rendition of Leaving It Up to You.
+chris guy Yeah, the title is right, the vid is out by 2 years.. Should have taken my boxing gloves before typing...To change it I would have to take it down & re- do it... Frankly I'd rather be hemeling...
You can hear admiration for what Jim Morrison did...in his lines...." Life and death are just things you do when you're bored.." So Cale don't get a whole lotta press and remained Avant Garde...( maybe ) But what came outta Lou Reed mouth. .in his many ....quips...was a whole lot a jelousy, concerning ; Nico, Morrison, Cale......" Jim , there are people on the street who would rather ....go for me..." But wat Reed did was hold together a " concept " in which ( maybe) he was portraying a Novel writer acting out his characters. A ' concept can digest Jelousy as fuel, . .. ..°••°○☆ That said, John Cale ...quite a minstrel.
Not as a Rockmusician.Eno made three albums with tunes of singing, all the rest is instrumental, even up to this day,or you know more than i care to know. Not a attack,so if you or others wake up,remember...And Roxy Music is not Eno,just because he was in it,i talk of his soloalbums.
@@danandersen813 I was talking of Eno in its entirely (solo, projects, band) compared to Cale in its entirely (solo, band, collabroations, etc). Eno is overrated to me.
