On top of that, don't tell me I'm wrong and then not explain why. As a matter of fact, I agree that there are other words you can use instead of 'ethics'. I used 'ethics' because the definition of ethic is the conducting of an activity based on correct principles. I believe that it is a principle, while conducting as a TV host, to never ask a person about an ex-relationship while he is currently in a new relationship. It's a really personal question which could have, believe it or not, jeopardized this man's new relationship had he said something that upset his new partner.

@@marat.8866 I see. I never really alluded to the fact that morals and ethics were the same. I'm quite aware of their difference. Perhaps morals is an understandable alternative, it just depends on the point if view. I was commenting on this host's ethics because this is an interview show and doing an interview is his job. Thus, it is important to have good work ethics- which involves not asking inappropriate questions- during an interview. I wouldn't have used morals because morals relates more to an ideal behavior that one should have based on common lessons and rules. I believe both nouns work, but you and I are just using them in different concepts and viewership. So, we are both right in our own way. Have a nice day as well :)

The key thing he said which I always brought up in the past relationship is that John is comfortable with who he is! He shouldn't have to change who he is to make someone happy, it doesn't mean that he loves her less or he doesn't love her at all it just means he has his principles and he knows who he is and why does he have to compromise because he knows what he wants and why does he have to settle because you know what you want

She's a product manager, aka a boss aka an engineer for a million dollar company, she best suits him bc they seem to have the same personalities, private & calm. But yep he said he learned from his last relationship, he's more of a private person. He's always been. People say he never sacrificed for nikki, yes he did. We never saw or heard about John's personal life, bc he never wanted us to. He only did the show for nikki. He sacrificed what he believed in for her. Now he learned it wasn't for him. You live & you learn.

So it's ok to break some person's heart because you changed your mind. Nikki was nothing but head over heels in love with you....would sacrifice her wants because you didn't want.....and YES it's ok to change. If you didn't feel it with her, that is what you should have said.....not set boundaries only to break. IMO, he is about what benefits him and quite rigid. What we see in interviews is not his real life.....we started to see it but then all was cutoff because he worried how he would be seen.... The real him vs. the TV show, wrestler, actor. Ain't knocking cause he has done well. But he knew truth and kept it to himself due to selfish reason.
