Another example of John seeing the hard work in others. I worked with kids for a long time and he's huge with kids. His entire presence is bigger than wrestling. Thank God he never went heel.
John’s praise for Knight is what WWE wished Austin Theory would be. And this ain’t a slight against Theory. Imagine what could’ve been if LA Knight had the match with John at Mania.
Austin Theory could also be that he got YEARS ahead of him and the match at mania wasn't Theory's fault it was Cena's cuz of his schedule it woulda sucked the same if it was against Knight
Austin Theory has the athletic ability and the in-ring skills, but there's just something missing for him to really skyrocket. It's almost similar to Roman Reigns back in the day, WWE saw something in him, but something was just missing for him to really take off and what was given to him wasn't working. He figured it out on his own, which was the Tribal Chief persona.
@@Airkong423 Nah, Theory just didn’t have IT to pull through. Also 🧢 on Knight sucking. His Charisma alone would make that match so much better even with a simpler moveset, something we see every time he gets in the ring and it’s not demanding on Cena.
@@CollegeBallYouknow what are you saying? Theory literally tried to build the feud by himself he is great in the ring which is more evident in last week's match against orton where he amazingly saved orton's botch and wtf when did i day knight sucks he the GOAT i been following his career long before he started calling himself LA stop putting words in someone else's mouth
John Cena is the man, so appreciative of his fellow wrestlers, always gives praise and shows humility. Really enjoyed the John Cena and LA Knight tag team in the fall, they made a great team. 😊
Well said John, we like to say its talent, but The guy really worked his ass off. Man I so wish this guy was there in WWE 10 years before in his 30s? He could have easily outshone everyone and be the someone like Cena.
That’s what’s great about Knight is if the crowd stays behind him like this it’ll be awesome to keep seeing the huge pops and the crowd behind him like that. Now if crowd starts to turn on him even better because then he’ll go back to being a heel which is how he got over in the first place. Look at The Rock right now, so much more entertaining as a heel. I was thinking the same thing that if Knight ever goes back to being heel then he should bring back the dummy button. YEAH! I saw one where out of his top 5 dummies he named the live crowd twice 😂😂😂😂
It’s a damn shame they’ve pushed LA Knight back to the side because of all these recent returns. He deserves a world title run, And without a doubt should have been the last Money In The Bank winner.
unfortunately for LA Knight his rise and push came at the worst time. 2023 literally the biggest year WWE has had for over a decade, not just LA Knight Sami & Jey also felt this, so many times over the past 12 months i've said to myself how is the 3 most over guys in the WWE right now without a singles championship when you think about all the wrestlers who have had those titles before with 0 hype behind them. Honestly I like Seth a lot but I think Jimmy and Jey should be held in higher regards, Seth being the one to help Cody rather than Jey is crazy to me. How much better this would of been if Jey was the one helping Cody against the bloodline after all he is the best thing about it, Jey should have the world title fighting Jimmy for it at Mania bringing this truly full circle and giving the people who deserve it the main spot.
Seth is like the one guy Roman can’t beat. Makes sense he has the other title, and let’s not pretend him vs cm punk wouldn’t have been a feud remembered forever
You can argue it's almost like we're in the Attitude Era again with so many folks who can be at the top of the card. Austin, Rock, HHH, Taker, Kane, Foley, Jericho, Angle, etc.
I respectfully disagree when it comes to LA. LA Knight (at least) rose at the right moment, at the right year, when Bray (bless his soul), Orton and AJ weren't around and Roman's doing his part-timer sched, reason why there's no one around in SmackDown who could put the show on his back. Good thing LA became over during those times (a lil help from Cena later on also helped), and he became the star of the show, at least briefly. Now, if he only started making some noise during this past few months especially when Orton (and Punk) finally returned, I sincerely don't think LA would be able to make the same kind of noise like he did during early to mid last year.
@@abatter Very true problem is they need to go back to hot potatoing the title again for awhile Cody dont need it for a year I'm glad he got it but give him a 6 month-8 month reign max first title, then LA Knight for 2-4 months, then Drew for 6 months then Gunther for few months then Cody for few months then LA Knight for 6 months then Jey for 4 months etc. they need to get back to that for few years otherwise I'm afraid LA Knights chances are slim to none especially if he dont win the MITB this year at least!.
I'm sure AJ/Knight can be banger at WM but a real missed opportunity not having Knight/Paul for the US Title. We already got glimpse of how good the verbal sparing between them would be and it would probably end with Knight walking out with the US strap. That dude should have a belt soon.
@@PARZ90s Yup Cody done it all, he even took a wrestlmania title match last year and two royal rumble wins, and he been around for so long participated with old timers like triple h , randy, his brother etc. . . Former ic champ ,tag champ etc. . . LA Knight should have given some bro, its unfair
How is it similar to Cena's? Within 3 years of his debut, Cena was the top guy in the entire business. LA Knight has been wrestling for over 20 years as a nobody, and then he finally gets to the main roster, he becomes more over than anyone, and they just say "No, you're not world title material" and don't push him and they kill all of his momentum with the crowd.
I think the most underrated wrestler of all time is Sheamus. They treated him well with his championship runs in the first few years, but 2013 onwards, he was made a nobody. Same with Mysterio. Possibly the greatest in-ring performer of all time and so little world titles in his lengthy career. Seems like they're doing the same with LA.
LA Knight sure has worked hard to get to where he is. I just can't get past the Rock/SCSA parody. John Cena, Imagine someone came out with a baseball cap gold chain and bright t shirts and wrist bands etc, saying respect etc on them? Yeah that's kinda you isn't it? I prefer if people had their own unique gimmicks, because YOU worked hard for yours. LA Knight has the acting chops, the gimmick just should have been unique also. Just my opinion though. ✌
At about 14.10 in the video LA Knight says to Roman "talking like that's a good way to get referred to in the past tense", which is a quote from the Cena intro song ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-U_ThR3d8Goc.htmlsi=S2_eK9AIfnyu8m81
”I keep it on *LOCK* like I’m part of the Jail I’m *SLAUGHTERING* stale competition I got the whole *BLOCK* wishin’ they can run with my division But they gone *FISHIN* With no *BAIT”* 💀🔥
LA Knight is cool because he can carry a promo but he’s really not that funny or has an interesting gimmick. Ans if he was around in the attitude era, he’d probably have to be part of a faction or tag team just to be relevant
“If all ended tomorrow “ I realize life is short so I'm markin the day Now it's full speed ahead, I'll rest when I'm dead And I could give a fuck what the next man said I live how I wanna live Buy what I wanna buy Do what I wanna do Try what I wanna try Fear nothin', take chances Not afraid to fail, always makin' advances So when I ride on the grim reaper highway No regrets bitch, I did it my way Yeah (yeah, yeah, yeah)
