John Cooper Clarke On Pies 

John Cooper Clarke once accused me of being "very polite" at one of his gigs. I was, and still am, rather proud of that.

Will never get over the line "cold weather grub, available in the public house" instead of the obvious and rhyming "pub". Makes me laugh every time. Man is a genius.

His book" I wanna be yours" - is a delight to read-recommended

We all need more Johnny Clarke in our lives .

1980s,Saw him about five times live down at camden lock next to the canal , sunday afternoon beer, stand up and cutting edge music...brilliant, well worth the queing in the rain and pay on the door and warm. Favorite JCC offering, Salome Malone, queen if the Ritz , give it a listen !!😊😊
