There is so much wisdom in the chat, this is very helpful as I am dealing with a family member who doesn’t believe in God or he is not sure what he believes on and is suffering with depression thoughts, and when I try to speak to him he tries to turn the conversation into “his rights of speech, feelings, etc” as a form of excuse for his actions, feelings and so on. Not sure if this makes sense but what John Cooper said is the exact description of what I am dealing with this family member. Thanks for this podcast. God bless you and the guests (I mean it). 🙏🏻

Thank you for this! I was asking God for deeper meaning this Easter and came upon the testimony of Alice Cooper and then these videos as additional suggestions. It does seem that people have embraced relative truth and anything controversial has been shoved into one big grey area where even opinion is a part of their truth. Yet John 14:6 makes it clear that Jesus is truth (in his own words), so I've been asking Him for truth in every circumstance. The other danger to truth is when I stay too long out of the word of God. Going too far to the left or right of the middle, is because people don't acknowledge the authoritative word of God anymore. Thank you so much for this reminder this Easter!!

Easy enough to live our way and not Gods way. The word of God is truth it’s why I hear a lot that to pray and ask God what are you telling me?

I agree with everything except for the us going extinct part.

People will take from the Bible what is important to them and leave out other parts. That can have unfortunate effects especially in the area that you, Curt, and John mentioned in the beginning, the cause of people being so divisive and cancelling each other. People say that what saves them is believing that sacrifice does that. That's the thing that sets them apart from other people, makes Christians more special than other people. The Jews of the Old Testament thought that as well. Christians do them one better with the belief that Jesus' Crucifixion is the final sacrifice everyone has to believe in. But Jesus didn't teach that. He taught that it is forgiveness that saves us, that lets us remember that we are all created in the image and likeness of God and our thinking can't change God's pure creation. It is forgiveness that lets us rejoin others instead of setting ourselves apart from them as special people. Matthew 12:7 If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent.

I RECENTLY was confused about churches. I have to believe there are Gospel driven people put there who also carry the absolute truths on what is sinful and what is Godly. I questioned a churches motive recently on how they were not teaching biblical truths to teens, children and young adults. I was going to this church for decades. And they (the head pastor and elders) told me it was not thier main goal and that they were just happy these people were coming to church. There is no accountability to this thinking. What good is a church if they act like a club for the world and tell them they can act and be however they want. What good is a church that allows things to tarnish thier worship area by holding halloween parties or worldly events such as a Super Bowl I watch the super bowl, but a place of worship is not an appropriate place to have such things. I questioned where they put the commercials, I questioned where they put the half time shows, I questioned what they were encouraging for people already struggling with alcoholism or sensual desires that are not good. When the church no longer cares about accountability to God and absolute truth as well as biblical guidance on things like who should be an elder, you get confused. You question if all churches are like this. AS we were leaving we were told they are. After such encounter from going to a church for so long it makes it hard to trust what preachers say and if they mean what they say. Or if the church even practices what they are preaching. It breaks my heart to know that the masses of North American Christians are not being held to a Godly council or accountable to not be of this world and sin. Watching this video makes the most sense. And it's refreshing to see that my confusion of the faith was not because I was just not conforming to how the church is but because the church has long tarnished and twisted the absolute truth. And I am not alone in seeing this. When we omit parts of Godly guidance from the Bible, we step farther away from his presence and blessings of peace. When we step farther away from his presence, we start lacking decernment more and more. When we lack decernment, it's easy to start following ourselves and our feelings and what the culture wants us to be. And when we start turning to worldly guidance sin becomes a Grey area instead of the biblical black and white. Leading us to sin and being not just okay with it but comfortable in it.

Use the scripture, define being Born again. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans chapters 6-8. Stop being Feel Good and sending millions to hell with humanist garbage! Christ and Him crucified!! Death Burial Resurrection!!!! Amen!!!

There are more apostate churches now than genuine, biblical churches. This division is sad, but part of God's plan. In the wayward churches, they are eisegeting the Scriptures (making the Scriptures mean what THEY want them to mean) instead of exegeting (searching for what God actually means). Hermeneutics is the method in which we study. We should pray that the Holy Spirit would reveal what God wants us to know about Him, His attributes and about us and our sin. To properly read the Word, to exegete, we must look at who was being spoken to, what was the culture at the time, and what are OTHER Scriptures that support the verse(s) we're reading. A solid church will warn their flock about false teachers and practice biblical church discipline. They will discern music they sing too. (Does it point to a church lead by a false teacher?) If you're church hunting, check out what they believe. You'll be hard pressed to find many that literally state that their main thing is to give glory to God. They make it about YOUR experience most often. Very sad.

People use Ezekiel 37 for the revival, but Ezekiel 37 actually means God's people will turn back to His ways. At the end God will bring the two houses (2 sticks/ 2 tribes ...North and South tribes) together and they will start keeping His judgements and statutes again. "And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them." (Verse 24) I believe the church is the whore of Babylon . The apostasy of 2 Thes. 2 already started years ago. Apostasy in Greek means to change from a previous standing or to fall away. The church now believes : #being guy is okay , you are born like that #women can be pastors in church #Sunday is Sabbath instead of Saturday #They keep feasts that aren't mentioned in the Bible. But the feasts that the Bible mention they don't keep. The apostles still kept the feasts AFTER Jesus went up to heaven. And if you read Zach.14:16, ...you will see , we will be keeping the feasts again, when He comes. "And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles." All these things happened at the Council of Nicaea, when the Council decided that they wanted to split from the Jews. They wanted to have their own holidays and holy days. Jesus did not sin of course and Jesus never got sick because sin and sickness is strictly of the devil and since Jesus never changes this is why Jesus still heals even today. Scripture clearly relates that sin will bring sickness into our lives but scripture also reveals how it is possible for a believer to stop sinning. Anyone who is truly being guided by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ is no longer living by the desires of their sinful flesh and they cannot possible sin nor can they ever get sick since they are now a child who has born with the Spirit of God. So realize that anyone who truly possesses the Holy Spirit and who is truly allowing the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to guide them in their life cannot possibly sin since they are now being guided by the Spirit of God who is Holy and pure and who cannot sin. “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭NKJV “But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” ‭‭John‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ God does not lie so Jesus would have never instructed the man that He had healed to sin no more if it were impossible for the man to stop sinning. Plus what this above scripture is clearly revealing is how it was the man’s sin that brought the devils afflictions into his life. This is why Jesus warned him that if he did not stop sinning then a worse affliction could come upon him. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107:17‬ ‭NKJV‬ ‬Know what this scripture means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. So this scripture is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness. Now in Deuteronomy 28 God related His blessings for those who would obey Him and the curses that will occur on anyone who chooses to live in sin and disobedience. Every type of sickness is definitely listed as a curse so any sickness in your life clearly reveals that you are a sinner who lacks knowledge of scripture and you are disobeying God. “If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE Lord YOUR GOD, then the LORD will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues-great and prolonged plagues-and serious and prolonged sicknesses. Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the LORD bring upon you until you are destroyed.” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:58-61‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Next, God made it very clear that He would remove sickness and disease from anyone who did not sin and who would obey what He commanded in scripture. This is why the devil can no longer put his afflictions on anyone who is truly born of God since they are now someone who is being guided by God’s Holy Spirit and they can no longer sin. “And said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:25-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Many do not realize that there are no scriptures that ever relate that a sinner belongs to God or that a sinner is a child of God. There are no scriptures that ever relate that a believer will always sin or that a believer can never stop sinning. There are no scriptures that ever relate that sickness would be a normal part of this life or that a Christian would possess sickness in their life. There is only one truth from God, one and one alone and the rest is all lies that the deceived chose to believe. Sadly, more then 95% of believers are destined to perish since they continue in a life of ignorance and sin and this is mainly because they did not understand how to allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify their hearts in God’s one and only truth. “And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭9:27‬ ‭ESV In closing, I can certainly testify to what I have revealed in this message because I am someone who has overcome sin and sickness in this lifetime by allowing the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to sanctify my heart in God’s one and only truth through testing the Spirits. So if you do not possess these same blessings in your own life then you certainly are not being guided by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ and you are definitely deceived in your beliefs.
