Love that take on Christianity. One "bad" thing doesn't mean you're going to hell. There would be more Christians out there if we didn't shame the people who drink, have sex, etc.

So John’s saying that no person ever does something according to bad intentions? That they always think they’re doing right? That’s an optimistic take but I don’t fully buy it.

Pastors kid here. (I feel like I have cred in that😆) I wish you had a friend during your crisis times to just give you a hug say "ok let's figure this out, you're not good none of us are but you're not ruined. Let's try to do what the Bible says not what people interpret it to say." I love that you care enough to have guilt but know God sees your worth even in our errors. Carrying guilt is pointless. Talk to God and let it go with the intent of doing better. You've probably heard all this before. But I totally understand what you've communicated.
