A video produced for the exhibit The Art of Native American Basketry: A Living Tradition which is on display at the Autry National Center's Museum of the American West in Los Angeles, November 6, 2009 to November 7, 2010.
The Art of Native American Basketry: A Living Tradition is a comprehensive exhibition presented by the Autry National Center. Baskets from more than 100 cultures, arranged in eleven geographic regions, will be revealed in this selection of artworks from the world's largest collection of Native American baskets.

I didn't realize you were using bamboo! Do you use the whole bamboo stalk or just the outer layer?

He’s a mixed negro.The only way to be chitimacha you have to be melanated.The Chitimacha are what people would call African Americans today.African American is a misnomer just like black and negro.We are autochthonous or aboriginal.

Native also didn't have wooly hair either, but the mixed ones do, just as the natives that are mixed with white would also have colored eyes. They are mixed blood natives just as kinky haired natives are mixed bloods as well.

@@z7806 Why can't blacks understand that anyway. Native Americans would like to stay just Native American, but many didn't & mixed with Whites & African so obviously there's many natives that look white just as some that look african. Native mostly mixed with whites more than with African so its not unusual to see many whites with Native ancestry.
