John Deacon Complicated Problem during Queen Tours 

With what's going on with Freddie's illness and it's would be effect with Queen ... and the pressure of being in a famous rock band, what Deaky felt and reaction was normal. Of course his personal life got affected too coz they're always out of town. JD has a lot of kids, that must be hard for Veronica to be a single mom from time to time. John was young, smart, loyal, very talented, private. What they went through was understandable. Freddie was not easy to get over with. I know Brian and John are not much into drugs. Freddie and Roger was. Though I know all of them drank a lot.

I never knew if John and Veronica, had serious problems, within their marriage. I never heard about John having devestating addictions to alcohol and or drugs. I do know that Freddie and John, were like brothers. John was very shy and quiet when he became Queen's bass player. Freddie knew immediately that John felt like he was alone, and would need to adjust for his spectacular role, for his gifted talent within Queen. Freddie started his beautiful, positive, understanding and uplifting connection with John. And this is how John Deacon flourished, into releasing his full capacity, of being the greatest bass player with Queen. 👑 For 20 years, John showed the World, his greatest gift and accomplishments!! My heart goes out to John Deacon, everday of every year, since Freddie so tragically passed away. Because John lost a very big part of himself, on that day. Because he lost his best friend, brother, inspiration and confidence. And what John endured in the weeks and months before Freddie passed away, was the beginning of the end, of what John Deacon would face and would lose Freddie. And after Freddie did sadly pass away, John did and admitted to the World, why he could not continue with his career as Queen's bass player. John Deacon was very depressed, hurt, devestated and lost without having Freddie anymore. We will never know why John D threw his bass unless John eventually feels that he wants to come out & share what happened w the fans, the world! I’m sure he was devastated over Freddie! Who wouldn’t b after what they all went thru & had together! John is a human being & deserves r respect! He along w the rest of Queen gave us the best rock songs in history for many yrs, it is now our obligation to John to give John the privacy he deserves & leave him b until or if ever he is ready to talk about what really happened! Freddie Mercury was & always will b the shinning star of Queen as their frontman but they were & r always going to b 4 extraordinary talented musicians & songwriters who found ea other & gave us Queen! The legends that they all r & will always b!! & what ever happened that nite John deserves our loyalty as his fans!! Brian May also had physical problems, including suicidal thoughts. He wasn't alone there. At least he managed to get out of the hamster wheel of Queen and come to terms with his family. That's why I think it's very unfair when Roger Taylor and Brian May describe him as physically unstable. At least he doesn't need the lying stage applause that comes on behalf of Freddie Mercury.

Aside from the poor quality of both the information as the ability of the maker to speak understandable English ( even the subtitle engine gets confused by it) I have problems with the almost tabloid like innuendo which is also used more times than once. If you have a story to tell once is enough, however unbelievable it is and the accompanying video material from mostly random people doesn’t help to make it look like it’s based on facts. John deserves more respect and reliable sources. From the survivors from the only Queen that was worthy of the name Freddie took to replace Smile when they were just three and John was not even picked to complete the lineup, being the third bass player they auditioned, the maker of this ultra thin piece of trying to get history across really successfully angered me with this paparazzi like attempt at “journalism”. It’s a well known fact John couldn’t cope with the loss of Freddie, is a mental mess and deserves to be left alone. I’m not sorry this world tour with the sore excuse for even a replacement singer will likely be their last. Paul Rodgers was fun to watch because in no way he sounded like Freddie. I wished they left it there and then and retired from touring. Look at the few hidden gems that came out of the vaults over the years or the excellent version of “I Was Born To Love You “ as a ballad. Still two songs with Freddie and Michael Jackson should be released other than as bootlegs. Hear the undiminished quality of a song like Face it Alone. To John: enjoy your retirement. To Brian and Roger: you aren’t Queen and I’m disappointed that you didn’t have the guts to not capitalize on the name and fame of the only Queen lineup worthy of that name. All the years after the passing of Freddie have proven you two in addition with a singer and nameless substitute for John on bass, keeping Spike out of becoming a full band member would have enjoyed the same successful tours and lack of new material. Sorry bro: this was an affront to good taste and an utterly bad video.

Says Who?? Where does your information come from? Of course John may have had difficult times with being away a lot of the time it takes it's toll on a relationship. He had a wife and five children who also traveled with him some of the time.We all know he was devistated by Freddie's death, duh!! But from what I know he is to this day in Victoria's and their children and grandchildren's lives. Stop with the faulty and unsubstantiated facts about someone's private life especially someone as beloved as John.
