John Deere 1640 Fitting a Rear Crank Seal 

I had to do this one time, it would have been impossible without the tool. Best $300 my employer spent that year.

I don’t have many videos up but a few years ago I did a short video of using the tool to put a John Deere seal in. Your video is a lot better, I didn’t say a word when I did mine ha!

Another great video!! You can never have enough specialist tools, I have gathered up a lot of Deutz & Kramer tools over the years & they ake life so much easier!!

Bundy great video and thank you v much. Question- with a JD 6068 engine, 10000hrs, with rear main crank seal leak, engine otherwise running great, some blow by, do I need to think about engine rebuild or just do the seal??? thanks Mick ireland

Squatch does some impressive work on some real relics. How do you drop something around an open bucket and miss? I can have an open bucket 20' away drop something, and I swear it teleports itself to the bottom of the bucket.

Someone notes that oil seal has a direction arrow stamp in rubber, it's in Wright direction??

Lance, just an engineer talking. Why not have a boss on your tool to locate in the crank to ensure alignment?
