I'm going to request a demo from my local dealer after watching this video, seen a 317 at the PA sportsmen show today and was impressed. I currently have case tr340b which I do like. But this seems better.
I'd love to bring one of these to the Bahamas! Sadly.. every machine requiring def.. including trucks.. here in the Bahamas is suffering due to the inferior grade fuel we purchase directly from Venezuela, it's farm grade at best!!
The door is the "MOST IMPORTANT" part??? You've obviously never owned or operated a machine very long. The door is removable. I've owned Deere, CAT and Bobcat. I prefer the 333G vs the 299 D3 and the CAT 259 for the small machines. Bobcat are junk unless you are moving mulch, or snow. They are for medium duty landscapers not site prep, logging or hard farm use. I put 700 hrs on a new T76 and it was broken down more than everything else I own. It went to auction for a loss. A new 333G loaded up with about every option except SmartGrade should run high 90s low 105 range. I spent the extra 4k for the warranty to be 5 yrs 3,000 hrs. I do this on machines. The entire time I own it I'm only out maintenance items and diesel. Well worth it on equipment.
The bucket can still be off the ground quite a bit and exit the cab in the Deere. Furthermore, the door will always open and close smoothly, not get jammed up with dirt and difficult to operate.
The new 333g , which is the bigger model was 99k out the door. That was every option except the smart dozer control. This was in the Midwest for a 2022 model
SO CHECK THIS OUT YOU HAVE A ELECTRIC BUCKET DISCONNECT SO IF THE HYDRAULICS ARE LEAKING YOU CAN STILL USE IT BUT YOU HAVE A HYDRAULIC DRIVEN FAN THAT ON MOST ENGINES IS BELT OR ELECTRIC SO IF THE HYDRAULICS ARE LEAKING IS THAT GOING TO STOP THE FAN AND BURN UP THE ENGINE SO CHECK THIS OUT
One of, if not THE most important feature is a removable glass door , preferably a roll up door. And I see John Deere failed miserably at that. I would never purchase a machine that didn't have a roll up door.
They still didn’t fix the radiator support. Guys always back it into a bank and push it into he fan. Guess they are good with the extra parts they sell. Oh yeah! Put som pads on the window sill for crying out loud!
Hi Wesley, New Holland makes a fine machine. However, the power and superior fit and finish of the John Deere is worth looking into. Also, check out minute 4:12-4:20 and you'll see the boom lock from inside the Deere as well.
Travis, Travis, Travis. So, last video when you compared the 331g to the Kubota SVL97 you made a BIG deal about how John Deere is built in Iowa and that you toured the plant “where the steel was made in the front and machines came out the other end” or something to that effect. Then you showed the Kubota manual being “Printed in Japan” and acted smug about it and said something sarcastic. Funny how you just ignored and glossed over that Yanmar 92 HP engine 6 inches from your face with the engine cover off at 6:50. Point being…yeah you’re an over the top salesman, I get it. But you may want to think twice and actually know you’re own product before trashing other brands and making fun of them. I’m actually in the process of negotiating on a used 333g (in case you’re wondering), but the Kubota (and all other brands for that matter) have their selling points as well. Good luck to you.
They also won’t tell you that if the boom isn’t all the way down that you can’t open the door. Witch means that if it’s on FIRE the door that they claim has quick release will drop down wedge it self between the boom and the machine just enough to give you like a 1 foot opening for you to climb out of at the top. Or you can take the back glass out and crawl over the engine compartment THATS ON FIRE, and John Deere 333/331G lite off all the time. Not saying that Kubotas don’t catch on fire, but at least I’ll be able to go buy another Japanese printed manual after insurance. This guy is just like every democrat that still wants sleepy joe to stay in office. Blindly following John Deere into the deepest darkest financial hole they can find. Oh and by the way I bet that Yanmar manual was printed in Japan too! 😂🤣
