You need to keep the bucket low when you have a load in it or you will turn your tractor over.

orange is my new green puts a little cone in front of the garage door so he has to get off the tractor to move it. That reminds him of the rop

Great video, you should look into a tooth bar. I put one on my 2025R last year. Definitely worth the money.

@@bibeaubuilds2869 From what I have found is for the most part there are 2 types for tooth bars. The only that heavy hitch has with the prongs sticking out and the one that bxpanded has, that's like a knife. I got the one from BX, it did an awesome job with cutting down brush and vines, I don't think the other style would have done as good. FYI if you buy from BX just know they are always 30-40 day delay.

Thanks for the heads up! Used the front snowblower today with that huge storm the north east got. I absolutely love it!

@@mark31383 I bought the Heavy Hitch . Works good also. No drilling and really heavy built. Much better digging with either one plus you don’t beat on your tractor as much.

It seems like a lot of strain on the tractor to lift it off the ground when using the backhoe. Is that the recommended way to do it? Just about to get our first tractor.

Impressive amount of work done with the 1025r. Over here in central MN, looking forward to my 1025r being delivered i a couple days.

Fold your ROPs up and leave it in mate, it’s not worth the risk. Those little sub compacts are really tippy. Only takes 1 bad turn and it’s all over.

After working your tractor like this let it idle for two - three minutes. Not nessasrily
@michaelchadwick3497

To let the motor cool but to cool the oil in the transmission. Heat is the downfall of fluid life.
@Will-tm5bj
@Will-tm5bj 3 года назад
Just an FYI.. its better to keep your wheels on the ground when using the backhoe. They arent like a real outrigger and will break putting too much pressure on them. Just not meant to hold all the weight

@@bibeaubuilds2869 no problem. I'd hate for you to break that beautiful machine lol. Have you had any issues with only having the two range transmission? I was looking at a 2025r yesterday and that was the only thing I didnt like. The kubotas of the same size all have a three range transmission.
@bibeaubuilds2869
@bibeaubuilds2869 3 года назад
@@Will-tm5bj No I have not had any issues with it. Everything I have done so far I have been impressed. Just pulled some huge stumps last night I cannot believe what this little backhoe can do. Not the fastest machine but it gets the job done!

@Will Scrudato seriously? Im about to get my Kubota B2601. Comparable to this machine but bigger backhoe. I was under the assumption that you had to lift the back wheels off the ground?

No ROPS. I don’t know how many times I almost destroyed my garage door because I forgot it was up. Luckily I never did. But I know it will end badly sooner or later. Until I build a bigger workshop. ROPS stay off.

@@bibeaubuilds2869 Be careful...these are very tippy machines. Even if you dont get killed, the damage to the machine, engine in particular from being on it's side will be huge. Might want to keep your bucket a lot lower too when moving.
