@@billburkhart Sorry to hear that Bill, she didnt do it in filming did she? I will keep her in my prayers sir. maybe i;ll call to check in later that week.
Good morning Bill , watching your video this morning while drinking coffee. I’m headed out to my garden to try my new Tar River tiller this morning. This afternoon I will be using my Nolts Produce Plastic Mulch Layer for the first time . I know the mulch layer will be a challenge getting used to. She has a lot of adjustments to get her just right . Thanks for your inspiration. Oh , I’m in Kinsale Virginia.
Hi Thomas, I hope you had a successful Saturday with your tiller . The Tar River looks like a solid tiller. I'll put you on the map, thanks for taking time to say hello.
Great video on moving dirt with a box blade. Now to see if I can work a top link into my budget. I have a JD2038 with box blade, land plane and grader blade.
Hi Bill, checking in from Stuart FL and Greenville, MI. I love your videos and bought a JD 1025R last summer partially from watching you work with yours. Thanks for sharing. Dennis the Snowbird.
Hi Robert, thanks for taking time to say hello and the kind words. I'll put Superior on my map. We get through your town once in a while going to the boundary waters.
Another great video, sir!! Love your content and your soothing voice. You're always so relaxing to listen to. My best to you and your family. Jason in Dahlonega, Georgia.
Thank you Jason! I really appreciate your kind words and encouragement, thank you so very much.....I'll put you on the map. Have a wonderful Spring. - Bill
@@jasonshivers3167 Hello Jason, thank you so much for checking, I'm 30 days from retiring, so my full time job has me pretty busy. Hoping to put out a few more videos after June 30th. Thanks so much for checking in, that's very considerate.
@@billburkhartif I turn it clockwise all the way it will stay up but I can’t run it like that because it won’t go down when I drop the lever unless I turn it counterclockwise
@@billburkhartif you open it up enough to where it will go down like it’s supposed to it won’t stay up. It’s either staying up and and going down way too slow or fall back down.
Hello Hendo, that darn top hydraulic should be installed at the factory as a standard. Really enjoying it now after damaging it. Hope your enjoying some nice weather in North Carolina. Be safe and we'll talk again soon.
Hello John, thanks so much for checking in and your kind comment. I’ll be visiting your country in a few weeks for about a month in the Banff National Park area. -Bill
Good morning Eddie, that box blade really makes the tractor a little bull when it comes to dozing and grading. Hope all is well in your area, enjoy the rest of your week. -Bill
Hello Jayson! Thanks so much for checking in I’ll put you on the viewers map enjoy the rest of your weekend, thanks for watching and stay in touch- Bill
I wanted to say hello from Sierra Vista, Arizona and let you know I just found your channel. This video just reinforced that I need to get a hydraulic top link on my Kubota BX23S. It made that box blade work on a totally new level.
Hey Bill. Great videos. Been following you for some time now. Raleigh NC area. Question. Do you have fluid in the tires? You may have mentioned it but I find it makes a huge difference in my 1025r and 4044r.
Hello and happy Sunday. I do not have fluid in my rear tires I have heard from other owners that it doesn’t make a significant difference I’ve just never taken the time to do it. Raleigh is such a pretty part of the world thanks for taking time to comment enjoy the rest of your spring.
Another great video Bill and a first for me as it's the first time I've got an attachment you don't have :-). I have a set of bucket teeth for my 2038R. That being said, I honestly have not found them very useful in my Hollis Maine soil.
Hi Mickey,.......thank you so much for the honest opinion of loader bucket teeth. I'm not sold on them yet. That must be a pretty part of the world where you live. Hope to travel there after retirement. Have a great week.
Hello Anthony,..... my gosh you live in a pretty spot in the world. I can imagine Spring is pretty nice there. Thanks for taking time to say hello, and thanks to you and Nichole for taking time out of your day to watch my videos. Appreciate it.
Hi Mark, I'm been very happy with the 2038R, it's done everything I've asked of it. Thanks for taking the time to comment and say hello. I hope you're having a wonderful Spring in Georgia.
@@billburkhart The Pollen was horrible. I bought my 3rd Tractor. I just got the LS MT 240e. Very pleased with it. Loader lift is 2,150. I don’t push it or abuse it. It sure is a lot of fun. Your videos are awesome. I bought a “Titan” 5’ Tiller. It will tear up some ground. God is good!😀
hello from Schellsburg, Pa. i kinda wish i would of traded my 2520 for a 2038r when they came out-but i went with a 835R jd gator instead, lol. the fact they made the 2series to have rear remotes on them are great i think. the side link hydraulic would of helped u some-but hey u got it done without-so all is well-right. ha!
Hello Big Jim, so glad to hear from you again. I hope all is well in your part of the country. I'd love to have side hydraulic links too, maybe someday. Take care my friend.
Nice job, I always have a struggle using a box blade for precision work like that, there is a tool that works excellent for that called a Harley Rake or Power Landscape Rake, that is something to pickup if you ever find one used but buying one new will set you back a big "Bill", a really big "BILL", thnxs for the video, have a great month.
Hi Ty, I'd love to have a Harley rake, but they're a little to rich for what I do. (help friends for no charge LOL ) I've seen them used and they hold there price don't they. Hope your out cutting grass and enjoying the Spring weather.
Yes, there are expensive and really could use one but 10K is too much for me, we are cutting grass right now and next week will be tilling in the cover crop I planted for extra nitrogen for the Corn and Pumpkin Patch, Have a Great Day.
