Thanks JC , my dad and I really connected working on trucks and farm equipment . He really loved the old trucks , he was tickled when I got my AZ (CDL) license and was bringing the tractor home on weekends to wash and clean , I hauled sticks local hauls for a time. But him and I loved going to cruise nights , and was a major help when I build a few nice rides . Yeah , when I have tools in my hand just doing maintenance on vehicles , I half expect him to be around . Anyway , I enjoy the fact you tear stuff down to diagnose and attempt to repair , that's one of the highlights I enjoy , and your repairs made to look so original , thanks for that , and keep them coming !!!!!
i tend to take on projects that others dont want or they are just too much work. i want everything i do to be done the best i know how...it doesnt mean it is the best way just the best way i know how. the parts finally came in for the 2013 f550 6.7 diesel so i will be getting back on that as soon as the shed is finished. i am glad you enjoy the videos.
That never sat well with me , such a disposable society . My dad worked as a Mechanic/farmer. Too small a farm so worked by day as a dealership Mechanic (Studebaker then Ford) and it use to boil his blood when other mechanics would say replace an alternator cause it had bad bearing or a new carb which needed a new float . So naturally we grew up diagnose and repair. Replace as last resort. My dad only retired for a year when he passed , but he always said he couldn't work in a repair shop that way and was glad to be out. At least he taught me to be resourceful , recycle , fabricate . The art of making thinks work !!!
right. i grew up with the mind set of "we cant afford a new one so do whatever you have to to fix" it. i hate to hear that about your dad passing just a year after retiring. i lost my dad when i was 24 and he was 48. we were very close and both into the same things.
You don't need that actuator to keep the pins locked, those red handles are spring loaded to keep them locked either in the open or closed position. Anyway on a CT332 it's like that.
Have the same issue, dealer told me it’s shorting out. I’m gonna search the part number & try to find a cheaper one. $1k is too expensive, especially considering my skid steer fairly new.
Side question? I have the john deere 320 year 2008 looks very similar to yours! My controller does not have the buttons or slide to activate the aux hydraulic lines! Any suggestions? I bought the machine like that didnt know they were missing!
J.C. Can you share your information on your quick attach research? I have the same motor but John Deere gave me a new motor that is 1/2 inch longer.. They say that is the replacement.. The 1/2 inch longer does not allow the locks to cum up fully on my machine.. I paid $1100 for this replacement that will not work for me.. Can I order the original motor from Denmark? This is the information I hope you will share with me.. The Denmark manufacture.. My machine is a 325.. No letter machine.. Thank you in advance.. R.B. Barnby
I bought my 328 and the linear actuator was gone. I bought a replacement online for 50 dollars. It's not as heavy duty as the factory one, but it'll work fine for a long time.
sittin here at jons when a package arrived low and behold some sweet swag cathy and i was pondering where ours was ? lmao just kidding good vids keep up the good work
