I wish they made more of the 4320's, I've always wanted one but haven't had the opportunity yet. Still have the 4020 powershift that I grew up on tho and I am thankful for that.
onelonleyfarmer It sold to a young friend just getting into farming. Yes, I probably could have sold it to some collector for more, although those guys always try to steal bargains too. It will live a few miles down the road, and help a young guy get started farming. I can always go visit it........
Absolutely bulletproof , I own 3 of them a 1971 , 8 speed tricycle front end and 2 1972 , 8 speed wide front ends all are open station also have several more of the 20 series tractors ranging from 2520 to 6030 .
Brand new $11,370, and worth $15-20,000 now without major repairs! Talk about value.I grew up on one of these, if Dad ever tries to sell it, I'm bringing it home. One of the best tractors ever built, even IH guys have to respect them.
I own 3 of them and love my time on them. My dad bought a new one in 1972 with a cab and I have loved them ever since. There is so much you can do with these tractors around the farm instead of using the new ones.
I have a 1971 my favorite tractor I own more than enough power to make my disc bine sing and do anything else I ask of it. I found out mine was sold new at flowers implement in Illinois, would be kind of neat to find out who had it.
Under 12k for an amazing hard working heavy frame tractor while Oliver and others wanted 14k for 108hp pto tractors And this was a 116-120 pto tractor depending on the year Tractor and you wonder why others who won't be named went out of business haha. My grand father owns two and they have both been wonderful though retired early they both are still great running machines and very dependable. You had a great machine and I'm sure it's still serving well for its new owner
that American tractors never sold! these tractore are more than one farming tractor.I am from Greece and I have the 4020 powershift with 39.800 hours and it still working hard...
Great video! I remember plowing for you with this tractor 25 years ago. I love those 20 series Deeres! Check out my 4620 @ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_3VirrMiDyU.html
I bought a new 4320 open station in 1971 or 1972 for $9,150 from a JD dealer. They had strong engines and used it to pull a 13 ft JD TWA tandem disk, which cost $2,200 new.
Otis Smith It doesn't seem like it now, but in those days, that was a lot of money. I have a 1972 4020, one of the last 20 made, and a 1971 4020. They are great tractors, but in truth, the 4320 was twice the tractor.
Now that truly gives meaning to the old adage, "They don't make em like they used to!" And... does this mean that it's actually still possible to farm without air conditioning and GPS? Who knew! 😃
@@brendenbloom2595 You could put 50 to 100 hours of hard plowing on a IH 560 before it self destructed the rear end. Guess that's worth bragging about. LOL
