John Deere 6120E Is Confusing 

The tractor has 24 forward and 12 reverse gears. The forward gears only have a high/ low splitter. If your going forward in 6th hear low then flip the reverser to reverse, your shifting to 6th gear high ( reverse) because there is not low splitter in reverse When ever your in low split going forward and shift to reverse it will accelerate in reverse as there is no low split position in reverse. Very simple. If you don't like it don't use the high low splitter at all- just keep it in high and it won't do this

We traded in our Kubota last year for a new 6120e with the 24/12 trans and it’s been Awesome!!

Don’t seem to know what he is doing.

Certain forward gears overlap in the ranges,for example b4 will be close to c1 and c2 also reverse gears are geared higher because of less gears.

I’ve got a 5065e with the power reverser and it does the same damn thing. It fly’s in reverse for reasons I cannot understand

You got a modern tractor but such a old lift thing dont know the name is it a American thing?

I’d never would consider an E model personally. Too much of a downgrade
