Both are nice tractors. I have put many hours on both brands. John Deere has the better axel suspension. But it does have a lot of moving parts. Case IH has better gear selection better shift quality and a left hand reverser. Overall I prefer and have had better luck with the Red tractors
I'd like to see a Deere video from about 14 years earlier trying to sell the new 55 series against the 71 series Magnums which had come out a year and a half earlier. Had to go something like "Yeah, uhhh.... the Magnum's pretty much got us beat everywhere. We did change model numbers from 50 to 55 though!" 😁
I just watched one of those the other day comparing the magnums to the 8300 jd. Case IH was way ahead of them then. And we just bought an 8930 magnum. With low hrs. I just spent all day in it and love it!
Interesting bouncing JD driver in the first minute. Years ago I heard JD's philosophy was not to be first with any advancement, but wait for others to work it out.
Not a bad idea to wait for other people to come out with things, especially when they are all thinking of the same things roughly. Then you can see what they did wrong and correct it from the start.
Love the Deere ILS but the cab in the mag is hard to beat. Just a fun fact all of creature comfort implemented into Deere cabs is also put into their production line assembly. It’s a circus a JD
In fairness lads probably 2 of best work horses out there deere 8 series and the magnum don't know what happened new Hollands from the tg 285 to t8390 they were junk.
I would recommend a Deere for my family farm....but the ILS system is so fucking complicated, if it has a malfunction in it...its literally a pain in the ass to have fixed. I think we'll stick with our Fendt's and Case IH's. My son loves our Fendt's green more than a Deere green anyways.
@@mikkel1249 New Holland t7.235. It's nice n all but I'd say the finish inside a Deere is better. But Deere was 17k more to buy the equivalent machine which would be been a 6195r with direct drive. So no way.
@@cameronvelthuis1844 t7.235 is the big mid frame tractor from new Holland like a 6175-6215r jd. There are slightly larger tractors in the t7 and 6r series as well. New Holland don't have anything that directly competes with the 7r deeres.
CNH has the world famous Steiger Quadtrac, which JD attempted (poorly) to copy in 2015, I'm assuming as the patent expired. Most recently, JD copied CNH tracks on their 7 Series combines, as they saw their superiority. These are just two examples of CNH being imitated, not JD innovating. JD seems to be doing more replication than CNH does. I'm not saying JD makes bad equipment, far from it, but it's not worth anywhere near what they charge for it.
Hmm but yet the 9x has better visibility than the qt. It has a 3 point hitch when the qs doesn't. Seems they are making a better version to me. Yes because case was the first to put tracks on a combine lol.
@@chadjustice8560 the farmer orders these tractors and they are built per specifications the farmer in most cases. Some construction companies were scraper models that don't have the 3 point hitch. Steiger, after all invented the four wheel drive tractor. Not saying John Deere makes bad products, I run many of their tractors have no problem with them. Deer's biggest strength is is in their service and their network is second to none! Case IH could learn a thing or two from them on that front and they would sell more equipment in doing so.
Funny how they make their own video with their own opinions. Back when they did real tests with the magnum case IH and 8300 junk deer they let about ten farmers run them for a day then come back with their findings and what they preferred. But John deere always has to be biased and think they got it all figured out. I had two on our farms till I replaced one with a red one the other day. Now just gotta get rid of the other green one. Red always runs longer and has more power while the green ones hide in the bushes
You mean the case video with the 10 farmers? I will say that again, the case produces video. Deere has never really had to attack anyone, it's everyone coming at Deere. Also sorry but the numbers don't lie, alot more Deere's from every time period still running and working vs everyone else including a very bad ratio for case. Red doesn't last and has been way behind for a long time even though all the new ones are just new Holland's painted red.
If you dont think they were payed to be there youre kidding yourself. Lmao that was the most pathetic comparison video ive ever seen. This has actual information.
Cope. The 8000 series was a milestone for tractor development. The tech center cab, command arm and the placement of the engine were all later copied by the competition. The old Magnum was "rustic" at best and severely outdated at worst (for an example from Deere see the later SG2 tractors). All that aside, obviously a marketing video from Deere will favor Deere.
@Alex Mosher Ok, CaseIH copied john deere's suspension, their entire concept of the commandarm, and every electrical and mechanical advancement after the quadtrack... and when everything started going electronic, CaseIH said it was bad instead of catching up... and this was evident in the MX Magnum series as they rushed it.
@@Ethan-ck6iz Now Case release their new Magnum hahaha. With the deere Tilt-sterring and deere A-post. And the speed motion of the deere the Rabbit and the Turtle option.
@Alex Mosheryour´e an idiot , cnh is owned by FIAT fpt and all companies failed badly so cnh pension fund bought them and made bad bad bad equipment for almost two decades before fpt took over. But John Deere didn't fail why do you think that is.............
I think that was true when it was just Case (can't afford something else). They used to say someone bought Case or White or Allis or Massey because he couldn't afford Deere or IH. As CaseIH though, not so much.
