Been watching these snowplow videos for a couple years now and hands down this is the best one I've ever seen! BTO, drones, heavy equipment, got it all. Hope this isn't a one and done cuz this was a treat!
I think I've watched this video about 100 times. I love everything about it...tractors, farms, snow, drones. I even love the song. One of my favs on youtube.
Just in the last week of July 2021 here in the UK, we've had a heat wave. Everything is falling apart or warped/buckled or melted. We've seen 40c (104F.... hottest day ) some people say "it's only like being in Spain".... but when Brits go to Spain they sit and drink beer, they don't go there to do a shift in a non-aircon factory. ANYHOW as always a big thank you for your vid still bringing pleasure.
561,011 or over half a million views for a tractor video is by itself Iconic. Everything about this video is eye catchy, music is very fitting. The 8440 ,,,, a benchmark for John Deere. Beautiful beautiful beautiful.
Marco Cota Beautiful House Eugene Oregon , thank you. I really enjoy living up here and all that goes with it. It was fun to put a video together of some of our winter experience here.
+Spike Ralph Thank you Spike! There are a lot of people that have come before us that have worked a lot harder and sacrificed a lot more than I have to make this country the great one that it is.
Greetings from Moses Lake. Did my internship for Simplot in Bickleton in early nineties. Miss rolling dice for coffee and cinnamon rolls most every morning. Have a happy and prosperous New Year.
meditech, I probably just missed you. I married into the farm and my wife and I have been back the last 20 years. I graduated in Mechanical engineering from WSU in 92 and we moved back around 97. We have done most of our fertilization and spraying with Simplot.
Love the Drone point of view. I retired two years ago after being with the same company for 36 yrs. 32 of those years I drove Tractor Trailer and heavy equipment. Including snow removal in the winter. I loved doing the plow work when the sun is out and the snow is clean. Doing cleanup at night was fun too, no traffic. Most of the time I drove a Case with a 12ft blade on it. It would clear a lot of snow. That looked like a Case in the video, although the one I drove was a smaller model than that. If I remember right it was a 90C. Could be wrong on the number. Keep up the neat videos.
+awoodworker Thank you for commenting, I enjoy hearing about other peoples stories. I really enjoy the snow plowing but am lucky to get to do it once a year lately. I will try and put out some more life on the farm videos.
I live in Indiana and get a lot of snow , I cant figure out why I love to watch this plow video so much lol. Maybe I grew up with BTO and I love BIg John Deer tractors. Great Video and Editing :)
This is the best snow removal video I have seen in the last ten years of watching RU-vid. Thanks for the time and effort you put into making this sweet video. You captured South Central, Washington State in all of its Winter splendor.
@@greenhorn4052 Beautiful area. Thanks for the drone shots and showing life on a farm goes on no matter how much snow you get or how cold it is. Grew up on a farm in SE Massachusetts. Work never stopped for changes in the weather.
I'm born and raised in Florida, And HATE IT !! We travel West every chance we get. I LOVE the snow !! I know, I Know !! I don't have to drive and work in it !!!. BUT, I have !! And I love it !!. Spent a lot of time in the snow !!. We're trying to move to Idaho and can't wait !! I'm sure you're life on the Farm isn't easy, But it's Heaven to me !! I can't wait to get moved and start our Homestead from scratch !!. And I also have a couple Tractors And can't wait to put them to REAL work !!. Your Living The Dream my friend !!. You have MUCH envy !!! Enjoy it !! God's Country, God's Blessings !!.
Hey Dan, I wish you the best moving to Idaho and having some acreage and less people. That is what I love about Eastern Washington. Our problem is that the Seattle area determines most of the laws in our state and they don't have a clue about rural life. I love it out here where I live.
Love the video ! I feel same way. I’m from northwest Minnesota I know how that wind blows! But we are at - 20 when this happens. Love the FLAG! Love the song. GOD BLESS
Nice video. That is a serious plow. I recently got a Phantom 4 and this really gave me some shot ideas for when I plow my driveway with my ATV plow this winter. Thanks.
Hey Man, Loved the vid! You're going to get a lot of views on this video, trust me. If you keep up the good editing and nice vids like these, your channel will grow so fast!
I was unaware that there was so much wide open ground in Washington. Looks more like Nebraska than my apparently wrong perception of the upper Northwest. Learn something new every day. Very well done.
shivs08 the cascade mountain range separates Eastern Washington from western Washington which is where Seattle and all the people live. This is very rural eastern Washington.
Thanks, we have actually had that much snow at least three different times in the last two weeks. It has been a major mess. I have some video but it is only me trying to hold my phone and plow at the same time.
Great video ! I was lucky enough to operate a similar JD in the mid seventies for a guy I worked for . Chains all the way around and a modified Colorado mountain V-Plow on it . It was the most fun a guy could have , breaking through 14' drifts or pulling loaded semis up a long road side slope . Sure beat the heck out of doing it on a no cab or fenders tractor .
Living in Australia I just can't beleive how much snow you have to deal with. It takes a video like this to put it all into perspective. Farming at that time of year must be tough.
My Great Grandfather owned the Bickleton Store in the early 1900's (Harshberger) I have never been to Bickleton but I want to come that way on a camping/kayaking road trip and enjoy some brew at the cool old Bluebird Tavern. Maybe see you sometime Greenhorn 40 !!!
Amazing view of such an unlimited landscape, impressive and pretty unsual from France. Hope you will do the same footage in the summer so I can see your area without the snow. Thanks for sharing !
Greetings Chris, this is dry land wheat country. there is not a lot that can be done with this land. We average about 12 inches of rain per year, which is just enough to grow some wheat. I will be making some more videos so that you can see what it looks like in the summer.
Greenhorn 40 We're the same here....very cold..-20F this am...-13F now...but not much snow! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND FAMILY from us here in Hudson, WI!!!
I just flew back from that area yesterday. My dad lives in Mc Gregor IA on the Mississippi across the river from Prairie Du Chien WI. It was too cold out there for me!
I have to admit...I didn’t think you got snow there. Washington is an amazing state. I’m in the Adirondacks, NY ....I like winter.....especially in the country.
Ours is still running strong. We just had a large snow event last week and I plowed our place, a few neighbors and the school out several times in the last week.
Ha! The newer ones are so easy to fly. It makes it kind of boring though. 🤠 They do have amazing cameras on them! I’ve made a few drone videos on my channel. Best of luck in 2021!
