I picked up my 850 this past summer. The series (850,1050,1250,1450 and?) are solid 70's to 80's vintage. Yanmar built and pretty bullet proof. That one just needs some love.Over the years I have bought,fixed,then sold or kept a total of 9 red or green Yanmars. Love 'em.
@@gregsmowersandmore5878 Wife and I went to the Texas gulf coast to fish and play. Cold front and high winds so caught 1 fish 4" long..... Was a fun trip though. Hope you and your family had a great holiday too.
Looks like this electrical problem was pretty simple. My 850 was having the same problem not getting power to start and it turned out to be a bad voltage regulator
Deere's are known for having weak steel on their mower decks. Throwing belts is pretty common and the likely reason is the steel is bent. That causes even a new pulley to be misaligned and it will continue to throw a belt.
