Thanks for the video, it helped me find the drain plug. While I was under there, I found two more grease fittings. The lower arm on the rear tires has a fitting that is underneath, so you can only see it when under the vehicle.

Hey Brad Not sure if it would fit or not but they make what I call a "cup" oil filter wrench. You have to get the right size for your filter and it goes on the bottom of the filter and can be turned by a 3/8 drive extension. If the filter can go through the opening this would work without putting your hand through the opening. Have a Jesus filled day Greg in Michigan

Looks like the oil filter “socket” I use on my bike would work with an extension to get to that filter. This permanently greased fittings are a designed failure. I hate them.

Also, I put the filter on "pinky" tight now. I can get it off through the hole with just my fingers.

I service 2 gators at my local golf club and first engine oil filter change was worse than that a right nightmare had to hammer screwdrivers through etc to get off I looked on forums and apparently filters are put on tight in the factory before engine is put in chasis stupid idea!!

Just the 2 of us here as well. We didn't do the big T-day dinner, no sense to, who wants to eat the same thing for a week? I did teach him the proper way to eat pumpkin pie: equal amounts of pie & cool whip!

A lot of the new Deere mowers use an expensive cartridge that is the filter and the oil all in one. Makes oil changes about 30 seconds, but you pay for the convenience

They make those sockets to fit on the oil filter that lock in to your 3/8 drive ratchet. You don't need to get your whole arm in there. Thanksgiving is just another day for us with a different menu for dinner. All of our family is thousands of miles away.

Could be wrong, but it looks like your Gator has progressive suspension to dial the ride into your liking. Nice machine.

Can you use a cup style wrench from the bottom through the hole?

Happy Thanksgiving to you both! I had to work yesterday so we are having our Thanksgiving today. Your going to have to make a tool to take the oil filter off without having to take the tire off. I know you have the ingenuity to do this and who knows, might make you a millionaire.
