man i miss playing around on these my dad used to have two of them they were great fun and could work hard. those old 2 cylinder engines were loud though lol.
True - one can see that the conditions were less than ideal. What surprises me is that this old tractor and others like it, make very little noise even when under load. They give the impression of "This is a doddle! There's plenty in reserve; just try me!" It's good to see this old gem well looked after but not kept behind glass in some museum.
That John Deere-M crawler can pull more than your giving credit, the plow no noubt needs new shears and some adjustments, go ahead sink the plows the crawler will walk the dog! If you would like to see old plows and tractors at work go to my plow movies, my tractor is 70 years old and plow is about the same age. Nice looking crawler!
@1941pearl I agree. I've plowed with horse drawn plows older than that, and mowed pastures with hundred year old mowers. Tune it up, sharpen it, put new points on that plow if need be, and go to plowing.
that thing is so cool i want one look how cool it looks from the front when he is turning looks mean paint that plow green and yellow to match the crawler
One other thing Friend, do put a rope on to trip the plow up and down, you keep turning like that with the plows sunk, you will bend the wheels and twist the frame. Just saying to help out. To many plows like yours and mine went to the scrap yards.
@amusichound you used the google translator right? i know it's not a combine, i'm a farmer too, and i don't see anyone plowing so bad like this. this man it's a criminal of the plow! when you reach the end of the field, you sould stop and raise up the plow, not turn when it is lowered. and the working depth it's wrong too. the tractor could be pull this plow much lowered. i'm italian, and do not hate me please, but i like german tractor in terms of traction
@amusichound ahahah!! ok ok XD sooooo.... you did not understand much, but it's not important..... in the second message you understood what I meant XD i know there are some crops needed surface plowing, in that case i use a cultivator, not a plow.
i just saying you aren't able to plow.... when you turn the tractor the plow must be raised, not turn with the tractor lowered. that was playing with the tractor, not work with them. btw, nice tractor
yer not plowing yer just turning over the top couple inches!!!! That MC would be down in 1st gear if you set those plows into the ground where they belong
ma come cazzo ara!!!! andrà giù 5-8 cm al massimo e quando arriva a fine campo che cazzo combina!!!!! ma lo sa usare l'aratro o almeno sa come dovrebbe funzionare?????
