Great video, very informational and well presented. The only suggestion I would offer is dump is hard charging music in the background it detracts from the quality of your presentation. Trust me, you don't need the music, your video is great without it.
$$$$ I don't think it will help you much to do the conversions, here in Australia, depending on options it can cost 25-40% of a new machine. You have to use Engcon buckets, maybe you could cut the ears and pins off your existing buckets and fit them to the Engcon hitch but I assume there would be problems, not to mention the Engcon buckets are smaller, better shaped for use at various angles. Everything said and done it will really change the way you use your machine and make it as good or better than more specific machines at all sorts of jobs, turn an excavator into a swiss army knife. That said it is really expensive and if you use your machine for very straightforward jobs or specific jobs like hammering, sawing, drilling, etc. the rotating grabs will be handy but it probably isn't cost effective. There's a lot of work that needs to be done to install the system, special joysticks need to be fitted and calibrated, the hydraulics need to be plumbed in and a diverter valve added to the control valve, not sure if fitting is included in the quoted price, that may even be extra. They also have a system called 'EC Oil' mainly for larger machines which I believe sends your auxiliary hydraulics through the Engcon hitch and to the attachment - No more spilling oil and messing with hoses. Obviously you will have to modify your attacment to suit this.
$38k from Deere with 1 bucket plus installation which is around $1200-1500. That is august 16 2023 invoice when we just ordered. I’m hoping it’s everything I see on these videos. If it is it’s worth the money because it takes the toll of 1 laborer on-site and since I’ve only got 3 guys I can have 1 do something more productive then stand there
