Those Liquidators dominated x country racing for a couple of year years. Brian Nelson was their main factory pilot. Later he dominated for Team Arctic.
Yes John Deere Sleds were decent.. They were built by the Lawn and Garden Division factory .. The CEO was a snowmobile enthusiast .. When he left JD they pretty much closed the sled division down ..Another Reason why JD sleds did well in Cross Country racing.. is because JD offered huge pay outs for JD riders if they won .. like maybe $10,000.00 to win .. So Literarily many Cross Country racers bought JD sleds to try and win the big JD Prize money .. good marketing from a B$$$$G Company ..
Well the Mini Ice Age in the late 70's was great for snowmobiling .. Everyone in OH and IN could ride. now they don't get any snow.. But I have to say the new Sleds are way more fun to ride.. and Brian Nelson is the Organizer of a Cross Country sled race Organization ..
Seems someone mentioned that the Canadian guy who wrote and recording this Parity song was a well known night Club singer and Parity song writer in Canada.. Trying to figure out his name so I can look for more of his recordings. Stompin John Conners recorded 48 Albums but does not sound like the Voice in this Recording.
I downloaded it from a Facebook group because it is the only time I've heard the song other than on the record I have. I don't know who put the video together but it was not me. I downloaded it to my phone then uploaded to RU-vid. I'm sorry if your nephew is in a picture on the internet. but I'm also pretty sure it's not the first picture of him on the internet.
