What year is your X748SE? Because I wanna know how is doing the transaxle oil change, is it a pain or not really? Did you have to change your fronts if it was equipped.

My X748SE is a 2012 model. Changing the hydraulic fluid is really not that big of a pain. You must drain both the rear and front transaxles when you do a hydraulic oil and filter change. The front transaxle is a bit more challenging to do. Just make sure that you have a big enough drain pan(s) because there is quite a bit of oil to drain.

How long will your broom last doing such work? I have a much smaller broom (a 48 inch mounted to a 24 HP Craftsman tractor) that I use mostly to restore sidewalks made of interlocking paver bricks that haven't been maintained. I also use it to do a final pass after I plow snow with my blade equipped 650 Twin Artic Cat Quad. The broom gives a beautiful finish and if you keep up on your plowing, the surfaces never get any buildup of snow. I have quite a few seniors on my block and in the areas around my home so I end up doing about 3 or 4 blocks of sidewalks etcetera every snowfall. 24HP gas B&S V-Twin Pro series engine has ample power. I run it at about 2850 RPM just to get the rotation speed out of the broom but the engine will run the broom and tractor at idle no problem. I actually enjoy using the tools, it's relaxing for me. My normal work is labor relations so it's a nice diversion.

Thanks for watching and your comment. I don't use my broom too often as I mostly use it to clean stones out of the ditch and off the driveway in the spring and sometimes in the winter just for the heck of it when we get a light snowfall. I also find it very therapeutic when using my tractor.

That is an interesting use of broom. Think it will work that well under my kitchen table?

Thanks for watching and you bet it'll work under your kitchen table except your kitchen table would need to be 7 feet tall!

I usually enjoy your videos< but this one not so much... I'm guessing you have no idea just how dangerous what you did is to a motorcyclist... They hit that gravel patch (or grass patch for future reference) at 50k or whatever the speed limit is on that road and they could end up skidding off the road suffering severe injuries or even killing them. Really not a cool think to do.

Thanks for watching and your concerns. I understand fully with what you are saying. The surface of our road is gravel with tons of loose gravel areas, washout bumps and potholes. We have very few motorcyclist that "venture" down our road because of its surface conditions and when they do it's at a snails pace.
