Thanks for watching and your comment. I wish ours could have lasted another season as it was stinking hot here. A dip in the pool would have been so nice......
How is the qualify of the 647 tiller? I'm debating between the 647 or the Frontier RT3042. How many tines does yours have on each? Do you know if it's gear driven or chain? Slip clutch or sheer bolt? Appreciate any feedback you can provide!
Thanks for watching. I believe the quality of 647 tiller is top notch. I believe that it has 4 tines per flange and 5 flanges for a total of 20 tines. From the PTO it is gear driven to a chain drive down to the rotor shaft. Mine came with a slip clutch.
I will be picking up my x758 and the 647 tiller as well. The dealer told me the 647 pto shaft may be too short to short we with the imatch once the tiller is lowered. He thinks the pto shaft could separate once the 647 is operating with the imatch. Have you had any concerns with this? I see you are operating everything just fine. Thanks
Thanks for watching. My 647 tiller that I have is the model from the 1-series which comes with a slightly longer PTO shaft. I bought the tiller used (price was right and never was used) thinking that I might need the longer PTO shaft because I was using the iMatch on the 3PH and if it was too long I could always shorten it. You may want to contact your dealer to swap out the driveshaft for the longer one. I believe tiller is the same for the X-series and 1-series but for different driveshaft lengths.
Thanks for watching and your query! I custom made it by cutting off the cross tubes and welding on a CAT 0 ball link on the cylinder end and a CAT 1 ball link on rod end. See this other video of mine to see it in action: --> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o9STJtnnUsg.html
Great to see you back at it Roger. I think you're using a slip clutch on the PTO shaft...can you share the rating on that? I'm looking to get one for mine as well, and don't know exactly what would be the right resistance (900 or 1200Nm)
Thanks for watching and yes I have a slip clutch on the PTO shaft. I don't know the rating of it (owners manual say nothing about it) but I would think that it would be the lower one 900Nm for the smallish 647 tiller and tractor. I had to look online and on RU-vid to find how to adjust the slip clutch as there is nothing in my owners manual.
@@X748SE thank you for the info Roger. I just bought my tiller and it came with a 1700Nm rated shear bolt and I feel that’s too much for the x595. Btw, thanks for the inspiration with the H7 setup. I made my H4 for now with diverter valves, I documented it on MTF :)
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I levelled that area with a landscape rake, seeded and rolled it all in one afternoon so that the new seed would ready for the expectant rain. So no videos of that.
@@enduser1982 I'm still here. Life is getting in the way and I had computer issues. Lost my favourite video editing software (license activation no longer available as the company is out of business). Not in the mood to learn a new one.
