Don't forget,that nh has efficient sieves (part of cleaning area). Cx series has triple cascade,so that most of material is blown away,before sieves. In that case,you don't need bigger sieves,but more efficent ones..jd is new model,cr 10.90 is already in some years Also as a jd combine owner, for 13years,i am not satisfied with its quality.."big" name,"small" quality
Have had TR/CR s since 1977 and today CR9.9 s Extremely satisfied and CNH seem to be improving them every year ! This year on 9000 A never had one mechenical break down only DEF codes ! I'm considering this exceptional Nice to see what other manufactures are doing , but I'll stary with CNH
I’ve operated combines from both brands. They are both great but I have to give it to New Holland. Amazing machines and still setting threshing records.

people seem to forget that the NH CR 10.90 is over 6 years old by this point. Agco, JD, Claas etc have showed off new top of the line monster harvesters the last year or two. They all look great but im sure CNH has something up its sleeve for the NH and Case IH harvester coming. they have already modernized the smaller midsize range.
we try to compare machines that are as close as they can on hp power and size.... the year release comes second... for example we can't compare an 700 hp combine against an 790 hp combine because they released in the same year.... power and size coming first in a comparison, then the rest are mentioned... (ok... i say we can because i already make videos, just have patiens... x91100 vs fendt ideal 10T is coming, so you have to wait) Here both are 700 hp and both the largest combines of each company... so they are pretty equal to us

Claas older model 760tt has the world gunis record long time ago for most bushels combined in 10 12 hrs running the newer model 8700 will do better the 8900 will hands down out combine and put it in the tank.

Assim como a John Deere s680 invou as cilheitadeiras do começo para a metade da década de 2010 a New Holland 10.90 assumiu esse posto por mais de uma década quase e a única que superou foi a FENDT IDEAL 9T e 10T
John Deere has the worst service of any dealer I’ve ever dealt with. I’m 100% new Holland now. Tried leasing a JD tractor and it cost me in making me miss planting two different crops 😡

The speed specification presented for the CR10.90 is not precisely correct. It is 40 Km/hr (24.9 mph) for (front_axle) rubber-tire fitted units (instead of 30 Km/hr), yet it's 30 Km/hr for track fitted units only.

You need three new hollands to one of any other brand. We were hauling out of field for a local farmer 80 miles to farm sight wheat-was running close to 100 bu to acre. They had 7 machines running in all the time i was there never seen all running at same time. Wasnt uncommen to see 3 sitting working on them or waiting for parts. Broke down all the time
I don't know why deere has not tried to break the record I think X9 is capable since it has more total active seperation area.. Maybe because the engine is smaller..
In theory the JD should be able to harvest more simply because it has more cleaning capacity. Bigger rotor and longer, bigger bin capacity when the cart cant get their in time to unload. Major sticking point of the JD is price. $975,000???? Come on thats rediculous. It only takes a class 8 Claas to harvest 6000 bu of corn per hr if you can haul it away from the combine. So its not like these are the top dogs on the block, you got options.
You are completely correct ,a class 8 or 9 combine is nearly half the price and farmers are struggling to haul away crop from them.The X9 will be around $1.5 million in Australia, I can't see them selling to many.
Yea you really only need that kinda size in small grains which is what the nh is usually associated with, my main question with the x9 was I thought it had 100 HP less than a 10.90 how would it be able to compete with the 700 HP 10.90 especially since they put bigger rotors in the x9
all that means is NH had a better machine for six years before anyone could come up with something better on older technology. So I think that would Make NH ahead of the game and what they come up with next will be the next standard to achieve

Let's compare price. On second thought we already know Deere is the most expensive equipment out there. So the moral to the story?? The most expensive machine is not always the best machine...
Since, more or less, the comparisons are very similar to each other, so the determinant comes down to price? And where is the price comparisons? One must be significantly higher than the other. I wonder which one costs more? But then, green paint is very expensive!
The New Holland is built in Grand Island Nebraska on the same production line where the International Harvesters are built. Also known as Case-IH. Interestingly, the largest combines in the world are built in Omaha Nebraska at the CLAAS factory. IH-Case had the original patent for a rotor style combine. The IH use 1 rotor. The NH has 2 rotors. John Deere put down the rotor concept for years until the patent ran out and then they began building rotor combines as well. Lastly - The John Deere will always cost more. You're paying for green paint.

Well after years of letting every other company design things, JD has come out with just a copy of other companies stuff. Just like their tractors. They have not been innovators for a long time, and are charging a colour premium for other companies designs.
The New Holland CR 10.90 seems like a really awesome machine. However, they don't seem to be as popular around here in Idaho. Now the John deere, CaseIH, and Claas kinda rule the rost around here. Though I will admit the John deere is a good looking machine and does the job. Then again, the New Holland CR 10.90 is just a CaseIH 9250 painted yellow. There's a few differences but not much. Also, I think Don't quote me on this, but I think the Case IH 9250 is a bit cheaper than the new holland one. So there's that. Anyway, for the price and quality plus I know the brand, and there's plenty of places I can service it. I would go John deere.
There is allot more differences in way cleaning shoe works then you realize..opti clean works way better in small grain! then a huge difference… TWIN rotors!

New holland all day. Nh are the outstanding combines on the market. JD arnt even close to claas in second place. Why do JD always put those terribly dull colours in their overly cluttered cabs.

JD have proved they can deal in wet corn and still get the job done and no CLOGGING UP. Please stop hating on JD because JD did the right thing because it needed a better combine. nobody hates on the ideal combines TWIN ROTOR or challenger combines TWIN ROTOR or claas combines TWIN ROTOR so why hate on JD? It's stupid and childish
