Make sure the metal arm on the tensioner is close to the pulley once the belt is installed. If not the belt can jump off when the deck moves up and down. I had this happen to me. When I hit a bump and the deck jumped the belt would come off. Adjusting the little metal bracket fixed the problem.
Remember what I wrote a few videos ago on how to fix problems on any equipment. First. Go buy you about 5 cans of penetrating solvent. Spray some on any parts that have "rust" and those area where rust meets bearing/bushings. OH!.. Also buy some chisels. not for wood...metal only, and don't destroy your screwdrivers. Screwdrivers are made for removing screws, not driving out bearing flanges. BTW: get rid of the JD Zero Turn, as you will probably- destroy it also.
It was a pain. If it didn't have that inner sleeve I could have knocked it out from the inside. Maybe they make a puller that will go on the inside of the bearing, but I didn't have one.
